Guest CityFan 06 Posted 29 May 2015 Share Posted 29 May 2015 Hi, hoping someone can help me out here? I have an Xbox 360 pro black and I want to connect it to an old TV - Samsung 28inch. But the problem is, is that the tele does not have an hdmi port, only a scart port. And, the Xbox 360 only has an hdmi port, no scart. The opposite to each other. I know the logical solution would be to get a new tele with a hdmi port, but I was really looking for a way to fix my Xbox 360 up to my current TV. Thanks. The Horse's Mouth Posted 29 May 2015 Share Posted 29 May 2015 Are you sure? Even the newest 360 could use a scart, unless you're missing the lead which comes with the
EnderbyFox Posted 29 May 2015 Share Posted 29 May 2015 Probably best looking on Amazon for a HDMI to scart converter cable, shouldn't be too expensive
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 29 May 2015 Share Posted 29 May 2015 In my Xbox 360, to what I've seen there is no scart port - just hdmi.
stix Posted 29 May 2015 Share Posted 29 May 2015 It should be directly above the hdmi port.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 29 May 2015 Share Posted 29 May 2015 The input into the back of the 360 doesn't look like the scart in the back of your tele, it's the slot above the HDMI port, and you should have cable like this:http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mad-Catz-RGB-Scart-Cable/dp/B000BQUV7A/ref=sr_1_4?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1432900705&sr=1-4&keywords=xbox+360+scart+lead
red5 Posted 29 May 2015 Share Posted 29 May 2015 Depends on 360 model as to what cable you need, unless it's the new "e" model then I have the cable if you need one.
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 29 May 2015 Share Posted 29 May 2015 I think the component lead (RGB) comes with a scart conversion.
