Charlie Austin £12m bid rejected

Recommended Posts

Call me old fashioned, but I just like the idea of having a manager in place before we go bidding for players...

Bloody hell that is old fashioned thinking

What next you will be expecting us to have a new manager in place before the season starts aswell . . . . .

He's not needed in my opinion.

No, a proven goal scorer at this level is definitely not needed...

We have a DOF, that's his job.

I doubt they will be as poor as last campaign with a decent man at the helm.

there are teams mid table/just above who could do with a goal scorer.

But they haven't got a decent man at the helm, he helped Derby finish 8th in a 2 horse race

Why would he even consider Bournemouth? Small team and lack of real money. Not saying we are massive by any stretch of the imagination but we're surely more attractive Thn them!

Newcastle being touted as strong favourites now

Might want to be a big fish in a little pond rather than a medium sized fish in a medium sized pond?
