For me it's just so far ahead of any other game I've ever played. The feeling of discovery is constant, as the game is so huge you end up forgetting parts you've already seen. Been debating grabbing a few old titles (metal Gear 4, DMC, Metro Last Light) for my PS3 off Amazon for a fiver or so a piece now though - I've had the console for 4 years and only got about four games. Gonna go for titles I played that proper blew me away when I was into gaming, or ones that I spent a pornographic amount of time on Shenmue 2 Any PES from PES3 - PES6 : Any modern day FIFA still doesn't match the multiplayer mode of old mid-noughties PES and I doubt it ever will. Resi 4 Metal Gear Solid SSX3 Ratchet and Clank Super Smash Brothers Mercenaries Timesplitters is a criminally overlooked game. Me and my mates used to create a map with low lighting, no weapons and you could only choose monkey so basically you had no idea where you or anyone else was and just had to keep punching. Probably not as funny as it was when your blood has more THC than oxygen in tbh. Other than that any PES 3-6, Halo 1, Unchartered 2 and Sensible Soccer on the Amiga. OutRun was great in the day, the later ones have taken the music and somehow made them even cornier (in a good way) Paperboy was enjoyable but so bloody hard.
