I paid $50 (around £38) for IUDTV from Aliexpress for 1 year. It has around 1200 channels. All the sky channels, BT sports etc and similar from across Europe, Africa, Asia and some American. It's not always that reliable yesterday I started watching the game on Sky until just before half time when it started playing up so I swapped to TNS5 and it was okay. It was also on Star sport but the picture wasn't great or Sky Italia, with Italian commentary obviously.

I don't feel entirely comfortable paying some one for something they don't own but I live with it.

I watched it on one of the Phoenix channels great HD but it was buffering abit  so I changed to another one same problem then went to another on zemTV - the croatian or czech one. Picture was great but obviously I couldn't understand the commentary. I'd happily pay for a perfect HD channel (I pay for NBA games) but being as I'm not in an area with cable and the download can sometimes be weak I reckon that's why I have the problems and nothing to do with the source. I don't even suffer from the ethical dilemmas some have. Last season most of the matches I watched in HD and had no problems. Must say if I didn't want to watch them live then Reddit has great HD games within an hour of the end of the match.

I don't like builds much, they're hardly ever updated and you get stuck with dead addons I'd just use fusion and the config wizard and then just put in the shortcuts you want..

Might do that tbf because the Beast is getting updated near enough every month with no new content plus the majority of links on it are crap. All I need is sports, movies and kid programmes.

Ohh and a bit of porn would be useful too like.

I tried various builds but they just end up crashing and being full of dead links so wiped my stick and laptop and have on both

HDTV

NAVI - X

UK TURK

PHEONIX

I use UK Turk for all the films and Phoenix for box sets

For sport and sky movies I use HDTV.

For £17 a month you can't go wrong in my opinion

SS1 HD was crap and about two minutes behind and buffered. I switched it to SD and it was perfect.

HDTV tweeted later he was having issues and  advised us to switch to USA EPL 2 and it was perfect. I prefer the Sky Sports Commentry so switched back.

This summed me up, match prefer the SS commentary over the regular PL commentary

Is this HDTV worth getting?

The free Addons are just terrible for live football now, wouldn't mind paying for good quality.

I would without hesitation. There have been a few issues with Sky Sports the past few days which they have been working on. Personally, I use the NBC channels for the premier league. I like to see the American take on it. I had no issues whatsoever for every Leicester game last season.

Perfect,  thank you. Pretty sure I'll get it.

Is it efficient on a firestick?

SS1 was horrible viewing. Had to change to one of the US channels.

Plus Arlo White is on NBC and he's a massive City fan but more importantly an excellent sports journalist.

HDTV also gives loads of catchup options which are fantastic and also the box set selection is brilliant.

I've just installed Kodi again from not using it since last season.

Reading back through these pages it seems like Zem and Phoenix are the only two real options for free footy streaming but these are less reliable than  they were last year and many of you have signed up to £10 a month HDTV.

I won't be doing that so it looks like I'm going to have to take my chances with the aforementioned freebies!

Has anybody got any other recommendations for a perfect Kodi setup as of Aug 2016? Are there any other free sports addons worth installing?

**Also- is it sports 365 you use though Zem? It says I need a proxy for this, right?**

I find SportsDevil (and RojaDirecta) to be my fall back addon though the streams there are not all English language. I watched a couple of games with foreign language commentary last season but it was certainly better than nothing. My internet connection is not full throttle so any HD stream invariably breaks up, particularly for later kick off matches. For evening kick offs, I usually need to search around until I find a stream that hangs together - and those usually have lesser picture quality. Though better that than stuttering playback.

I think that's what you need to make a lot of the add ons work.

I see. thanks....

I've installed that and see that Pheonix is integrated with Zem and managed to get a few streams working. Choppy as hell which isn't a good omen for later lol

I liked sportsdevil but I'm sure that Roja stopped working (is that the the one with the uk block list link?) for me ages a go. I found sportsdevil good for my mobile but it was still like finding a needle in the haystack to get a stream that worked most of the time..
