We've moved up to 13th in the all-time Premier League table. Could slip back to 14th if Leeds win today.

I'm actually more surprised we've spent more time in the Prem than Leeds!

Bit of a niche one but interesting nonetheless.

We're the first team in Premier league history to score 3 goals in the first half in back to back games despite conceding the first goal in both :scarf:

Only the 3rd time that's been mentioned ;)

In the stat you never knew you needed, City became the first team in Premier League history to score three first-half goals in back-to-back matches despite conceding first in each game - having also done so against Aston Villa

Main article is about Man U and Newcastle but we are 3rd in the 'ball in play' percentages premier league.

A sign we like to keep the ball but not savvy with gamesmanship?

From Tanner's piece today - our key stats - season to date:

So to sum it up, we attack slowly, give away a load of shots against ourselves and don't make many shots for ourselves, and play lots of short passes. Sounds like a team that gives away possesion in stupid places in their own half all the time, but carry on doing it regardless. I swear that most of Blackburns chances the other day came from us having possesion in our own half, we are a bigger danger to ourselves than the opposition. Rodgers needs a wake up call, possesion is all well and good, but it has to serve a purpose, and at the minute we are too self indulgent and badly lacking in pragmatism.

Pretty much.  Field tilt is a decent stat to identify whether your possession carries a threat.  (it's based on passes completed in the attacking third only: did you or you opponents have more?)  First couple years under BR, we did well with it, now we're well under average.

PPDA shows we're still decently aggressive with pressing (but again, well below recent peaks).  And we still create quality shots (but too few of them).

All confirmation obviously, not a news flash.
