Record for longest streak of games for a team to have trailed at any point in a match?

Gone behind in every match since the world cup haven't we except for Palace, which we lost? lol

Anyone else confused by this, gone behind in every match since the world cup except for Palace, which we lost:blink:

I know you mean conceded first, but we went behind in every match otherwise we wouldn't have lost

What are you confused about, my random use of a question mark which I can't explain?  lol

Besides that then yes, my point is exactly what you wrote in the end. Reason I mentioned the Palace game is the irony that we lost the match anyway, hence why I've changed the stat to "losing at any time" instead of conceded the first goal.

This weekend four of the bottom five clubs scored a total of 15 goals.

No-ones going down without a fight (well at least scoring a crap ton of goals)!

What is the most goals scored by a relegated Premier League team? Surely a relegated team has never scored more than a top 4 team (still possible)

After a quick look; In the Prem the most goals scored by a relegated team was 55 by Blackpool in 2010/11.

Though they did concede 78.

Well we are at 64 conceded now, and with Liverpool and Newcastle next, if the lads put in the level of performance and commitment they've shown all season we've got a real chance of surpassing that 78 total on the last day.

Fulham enjoyed their 14th Premier League win of the season; only in 1959-60 have they ever won more games in a top-flight campaign (17).

Leicester have lost 21 Premier League games this season, their most in a league campaign since 1994-95 (25), a season in which they were relegated from the top-flight.

Fulham scored five goals in a Premier League game for the first time since beating Norwich 5-0 in August 2012.

Leicester have conceded in each of their last 20 Premier League games (39 goals conceded), their longest run without a league clean sheet since going 21 from April to December 1994.

James Maddison became the first Leicester player to assist a goal in three consecutive Premier League appearances since Riyad Mahrez in February 2016. Maddison has nine assists overall in the competition this term, his most in a single top-flight campaign.

Leicester’s Jamie Vardy has won 23 penalties in the Premier League, the joint-most of any player in the competition's history, along with Raheem Sterling.

And that was a 42 game season. So this is most defeats ever in a 38 game season...

20 games in a row without a clean sheet, conceding the first goal in 18 of them!

Absolutely disgusting at this level.

All season non-LCFC fans (and presumably our board) have said 'we're too good to go down, look at the players you have'. Well, on paper maybe. But they're the same crop of players that have got us in this mess.

20 games in a row without a clean sheet. Bad enough having that many in a season, let alone in a row.

It's just embarrassing right now. Everything about our club is.

Not really a stat, but an indictment of how poor we’ve been in big games recently against teams we should have taken points off.

In recent months we’ve played 6 games vs Southampton (away), Bmth (home), Wolves (away), Leeds (away), Everton (home), Fulham (away - who previously lost 8/10)… that’s a possible very winnable 18 points.

We have taken 5 points, when even 4 more points would probably have us now in a much healthier position. It’s truly pathetic, particularly when you think about the multitude of basic individual errors that have cost us in those games alone.

Like Villa relegated 5 years after winning the first division and European cup,

Blackburn relegated 4 years after being premier League champions,

Will we join this pair

Leicester 7 years after winning the league and only 2 years after winning the FA Cup.

PS Not fact checked

Villa relegated 86/87, came straight back up finished 2nd in 87/88, stayed in Prem until 2016.

Blackburn relegated in 98/99, came back up in 00/01, stayed in Prem for another 10 years.

Yes and how on earth we never went a goal down in that first half was a minor miracle, then to come out 2nd half and score first was daylight robbery!

A very different world back then

no ffp to stop jack re investing and villa were simply a top side who had a blip which meant one season in division 2. I don’t suppose it was that uncommon back then for a team to drop down for a season or two. We must have done it!   The financial hit was incomparable to now

Pedant alert is wolves (h) - being our only win

I think the attitude of the players in all those games (Leeds and Everton apart where we seemed to grasp would be a fight) was very questionable

we got lucky v wolves who didn't take advantage of our first half tactical set up in midfield

the Bournemouth game stands out for me  - the players really believed they just needed to turn up to win and when they didn’t roll over we were stuffed

At least we didn't do a Man City... win it and get relegated the next season!

  • Leicester's most losses ever in a 38 game season
  • 21 games in a row without a clean sheet
  • Conceded opening goal in 19 of those game
  • Only side across Europe's top 5 leagues without a clean sheet since World Cup
  • 12 consecutive home games conceding the opening goal (longest ever run by any side in PL history)
