New chants and songs

Just seen this on Facebook look Brill

Tune Mambo Number 5

A little bit of Kasper in our lifes

A little bit of Dyer down he sides

A little bit of Knockaert's all we need

A little bit of Vardy with the speed

A little bit of Morgan in defence

A little bit of Nugent he's immense

A Little bit of singing from the Fans

We've got the best team in the land

Well done whoever done this :scarf:

Big fan of that, might sing it in the shower later.

Two for the boys in blue,

Three for the lads down filbert way,

We'll follow till were dead! Me boys,

We'll follow till were dead!

Oh leicester, oh leicester!

Verse 1;

Down at filbert way there's Nigel Pearson and the foxes too,

If they win or if they lose we will follow them through and through,

Il spend some time this Wednesday, I'm ready for anything,

Spend an hour or two watching forest lose and sing and sing and sing!

Oooohhhhh

I know this was mentioned sometime last season, think it's rather appropriate

Woke up this morning feeling fine

I've got Leicester on my mind

We play football the way, the way we should, oh yeah

Something tells me I'm into something good

This is why I miss filbert street, look around there is hardly anyone singing but it sounds so good! The acoustics work and they sound in tune and harmonised together. You just can't get this at new grounds at all.

That's a good one. Lots of the home crowd will get behind it as it's simple and catchy. I think that FC United singing it too so I would imagine it to be pretty original in the football league.

Oh when he's on the ball.

Oh and watch him skin them all.

Oh and assist the next Leicester goal.

Aaa Riyad Mahrez Rez Riyad Mahrez Rez

Newcastle's Yoan Gouffran song to the crystals "da doo Ron Ron" song

---> went to a newcastle game recently with a mate and this was sung. Sounds really good and is proper catchy. Meant to suggest it sooner.

We used to sing it years ago the lyrics make it such a good terrace song with a hint of nostalgia thrown in, it's a shame it went away.

Once upon a time there was a tavern

Where we used to raise a glass or two

Remember how we laughed away the hours

And dreamed of all the great things we would do

Those were the days my friend

We thought they'd never end

We'd sing and dance forever and a day

We'd live the life we choose

We'd fight and never lose

For we were young and sure to have our way.

La la la la...

Here's a video, please at least listen to the chorus at 40 seconds. I was in a pub in st Anton a few years back where everyone was belting this out, it can be such a loud song which is also very catchy (my mrs is walking around singing it now after I gave the chorus a couple of bursts).

Obviously the words can change such as change tavern to team (like we used to) and the last line of verse to something about boys in royal blue but I think the original works fine.

So come on let's get this one sung. :D

In respect of his NZ heritage "It's Chris Woods time" to the tune of Business Time by Flight of the Conchords. (Admittedly - won't get sung that often)

Mainly because we have no player with that name.
