New chants and songs

Recommended Posts

When he runs down the wing,

We don't know what to sing,

RITCHIE DE LAET!

When he's crossing all day,

We don't know what to say,

RITCHIE DE LAET!

(Amore)

We should sing a version of 'Champions' from the Filbert Street Blues album

It's Champions we are,

and champions we'll be

We'll cheer the City on to victory,

with Jock Wallace as our leader,

we'll get back to the top,

And Filbert Street will echo,

as we shout it from the Kop

'cause champions we are,

and champions we'll be

CITY! CITY! CITY!

on our own, what a shame

please show us some pity

just the pride of the midlands

poor old leicester city

These are the ones

Who put the ball in United's net didn't catch on Saturday either

Ooooohhh Pearson is our leader

He's the fvcking man

If a pack of wild dogs can't stop him

Then nothing really can

And he fights the dogs with his left hand

And fights dogs with his right

And when they try to bite him

They'll lose their fvcking sight

I like this tune. Not sure about 'once again' though. Trying to think of something better.

what about

Nigel Pearsons Leicester

Nigel Pearsons Leicester

Nigel Pearsons Leicester

Winning again

After I've seen a few posts moaning about hardly any Nigel Pearson chants getting a good loud airing. This song is basic to learn.

Would still love to hear this old one. Would take me back a few years.

L. E. I.

C.E.S.

T.E.R. City are the best

Heard that a couple of times in SK1. That would sound class if done by loads IMO.

We are Leicester City x3

Blue Army

Could be that simple.

Cov fans have started this on Twitter. It isn't even logical, a pure rip off...

"Oh his name is Reda Johnson,

Yes we got him on a free,

And he loves the ****ing city,

He scores goals so that's alright with me"

Curse those Coventry fans for stealing the song that we stole off those Argentinians in that Airport.

To the tune of "Blowing in the wind"

How many goals did the Leicester boys score

When Man U-nited came to town

and how many goals did the Leicester boys score

when they had Van Gaal at the helm

and how many goals did the Leicester boys score

while they gave United the runaround

The answer my friend is five goals by the end

the answer is five goals by the end.

I’ve been perusing this thread for a while and given our depressing form at the minute, I thought I’d distract some of you from that be reigniting the debate about our wavering home atmosphere since the Burnley game. Here are some of the chants that you’ve all posted that I think are the best and a couple of others. It’s clear that popular chants nowadays usually come from altered popular songs from bygone eras; “Come on feel the noise”, “Bad Moon rising” etc. etc. so  maybe we should be thinking in that vain to revive our song book? Or maybe that’s unique to us, like a proper rendition of WYS or just famous attitudes, opinions or instances in the club’s history along the lines of Man City’s “we’re not really here” etc. etc. etc.

This is much less stressful and depressing than discussing actual football isn’t it?!

Tune: Amoré
When he runs down the wing,
We don't know what to sing,

RITCHIE DE LAET!

When he's crossing all day,

We don't know what to say,
RITCHIE DE LAET!

Tune: Leicester City players - Champions
It's Champions we are,
and champions we'll be

We'll cheer the City on to victory,
with
Pearson as our leader,
we'll get back to the top,
And Filbert
Way will echo,

as we shout it from the Kop

'cause champions we are,

and champions we'll be

CITY! CITY! CITY

Tune: Original (not sure), Man City’s Pellegrini song

on our own, what a shame

please show us some pity

just the pride of the midlands

poor old leicester city

Tune: Original (not sure), Everton’s School of Science song

Pearson had a dream
To build a football team
He had no money so he signed the players for free

We're strong at the back
With pace in attack
The O'Neill era is on it's way back

Tune: We are sailing

No one hates us!
No one hates us!
No one hates us!
We don’t care!
We are Leicester!
Lovely Leicester!
We are Leicester from Filbert Way!

The chant to LSF

A chant for Simpson? My mate thinks it’s a good idea to chant to the Simpsons theme song or Kharma Chameleon but I’ll leave that with you!!!
