I am a fan of both songs but have to agree this one will get more people into it as it seems majority of us cant string more than 5 words together

This is the same thing we went through with the “His name’s N’Golo Kanté, he came across the sea” chant. Sometimes the intent and the tune are great but the chant just ain’t all that. 
 

Humming the darts tune with a chant of “MAD-DIS-ON!” pretty much makes says everything the first half of the current Maddison song is trying to express without needing to spell out the point of the song.

People would just moan and say "just shout ULLOA ULLOA ULLOA over and over that's much easier". 

The classics like that still make the occasional appearance— people will respond to a clever and good chant. 
 

The Maddison chant just isn’t as good, and that’s OK, it’s just a chant. 

 

The point of the song comes across perfectly in the existing darts chant that everybody already knows and does, there’s no need to explain it in the lyrics and involve Mason f***in’ Mount and Jack Grealish.
