Wasn't being critical for what you lads are doing. Fair enough if you also do our old school chants too. Theres some 'non euorpean' songs that I rarely join in with Ring Of Fire for one. The drum beat on the free kicks is exactly what goes on with the wembley day trippers, so I'd never do that one too. Nor a mexican wave, even if we were 9-0 up away to forest.

Not a fan of Ring of Fire either. Just sounds daft at a billion miles an hour.

O, and can somebody tell me the background to the 'hark now hear, the leicester sing, the chelsea ran away and we will sing forever more because of boxing day' chant.

Im guessing it has something to do with a game on boxing day.....................

Very early in the eighties there was a big fight in the kop when Chelsea fans got in there. Leicester took a large group to the next game at the bridge on boxing day for a big fight and they ran away allegedly. I was in my teens at the time so everyone I knew was talking about it.

Not neccisarily Leicester related, but would be interesting if we had Liverpool in the 3rd round of the FA Cup :rolleyes:

Andy King is Leicester's Number 10.

To the tune of Torres' song- "his armband proved he was a red".

Needs improvement, but we need a proper song for Andy King i think.

why do people want to make songs that abuse OUR players and managers?

Because sometimes they are funny,this one not being so i admit.

Years ago Cambridge utd had aplayer who i was told killed his girlfriend in a car crash and went down for a while.Touchy subject but,they used to call his name and when he waved back ,they used to sing to the tune of "lets go fooking mental" "shags them,then he kills them" now that was severe abuse,but got a laugh,even the player laughed a few times. SGE has an alleged reputation of a swordsman,considering the above hardly abuse.
