He came from Everton,

He used to play for Leeds United the filthy cheating scum.

He's gonna score the 30 goals,

that help us to go up,

Looking at our strikers, the only way is up.

Richie, Richie Wellens,

Gelson, Danns and King,

Michael Johnson's getting fit and this is what we sing..

Seriously though? I'm aware their ground helps them for atmosphere (IMO), but I think it's just plain bias to call their home support "shit", I've often been impressed by it.

That or du du du du Jermaine Beckford, or the old favourite Beckford, Beckford, Beckford :rolleyes:

This is basically my point. That's the problem with our fans and it's getting bloody worse, no invention. You just know something like that will happen.

With regards to the atmosphere i think things could be improved if the kop was moved next to the away fans.

As for getting some of these chants going there must be enough people in l1 and the kop who read this forum. If someone was prepared to start one of the new chants up they could let us know which one they were planning on doing, the rest of us could learn the words and join in, hopefully they wouldn't then die a death with the chant.

Again I don't think it's the atmosphere we mean here, I know it could be improved but I think it's what is actually creating the atmosphere, and our fans sing the most generic, obvious songs ever.

I do agree there but be fair here - a good 100 L1'ers could've read this, but they'll probably think to themselves, "oh, that was a good chant, I'll start this now"..... "hmm, what if no-one else knows it though?", that's how I see it and I'd be the exact same sadly.
