Yeah he is, but I doubt he'd get in their side. Id try and get him the summer.

The only doubt I had with him when he played for Melbourne was that he didn't look that quick. Really composed player though and destined to play at a higher level.

We've got to many athletes that are quick but have no footballing ability ie Musa. We need more players like Mooy to develope into a possesion based side.

Too late to get a relegation avoidance specialist in (apart from Pearson:ph34r:), or for any other random manager to squeeze the best out of our players.

Best hope is to leave it with Shaky till the end of the season and hope that Liverpool wasn't another false dawn. He obviously knows the players strengths and weaknesses well, and they are fired up to play for him, with everyone on to same page.

I think he'd be an interesting choice but people say shakey has no experience but this is only Wagners first season in first team management.

He took over last season and taken Huddersfield form near the bottom of the division to probebly the best team in the championship(I know they are 3rd blah blah)

Completely agree. Amartey being the best example, I'm afraid.

Now that the dust has settled a bit, I can see that if the Thais have the balls to sack Ranieri, then they also realise that the management merry go round will still go on this season and surely if Shakey keeps us up then someone with some pedigree will put their name in.

If the competition is Woy then then there is fame and fortune waiting. Just stay up and a biggy will appear from nowhere or ill fate at another club. It's just a matter of timing.

Amartey hasn't been given a crack at CH yet ....   need someone to allow WM and RH to have a break if and when needed ....

Wasn't sure at first and still not 100% but I'm increasingly of the mind that Shakey is the best option for right now - especially when you look at the borderline-tragic list of available managers. I don't think there's anyone we've been linked to who I've thought 'yeah, he would be good'. Decent managers at other clubs are unlikely to jump ship at this stage.

I would give it to Shakey for the rest of the season and then reassess in the summer - I still don't think he's the answer long term (hope I'm wrong, genuinely) but I think he'll keep us up and then we would be a more attractive prospect for a higher calibre of manager. That said, if he kept us up and wasn't given the job permanently, you could argue that that would be a shabby way to treat him.
