RowlattsFox Posted 9 September 2017 Share Posted 9 September 2017 If you take the rules literally, it's a red but I think if you use common sense and take the incident as a whole you can see it as an accidental collision in a scenario where mane had every right to challenge for the ball in that way, he got it wrong so it should be a yellow. But after I'd calmed down I think I would accept the decision. I think the fairest possible decision would be a red card for Mane but no suspension as it was seriously dangerous but clearly unintentional.
