Dyche complaining that they didn't get a penalty when Barnes was "fouled" but didn't dive because he's such an honest player.

Ashley Barnes. Honest.

What? He's one of the biggest cheats around. Next he'll be saying that good old honest Sam Vokes didn't handle the ball into our ****ing net last season like a fat Welsh Space Jam extra, while Dyche and his team honestly said nothing and pocketed 3 points off of us through, err, blatant ****ing cheating. Burnley are just at bad as cheating as everyone else, but seem to have some kind of magical media shield that makes them out as some kind of honest upholders of the sanctity of fair play. Just like honest Sean Dyche doesn't ever criticise Refs like other managers would, but spends every post match interview banging on about the refs decisions.

Ashley Barnes is a talentless thug, and Sean Dyche can do one with his chip on his shoulder and massive inferiority complex. Dyche and Burnley belong together and fit perfectly. A small club with a manager who has a small club mentality

wasn't a screamer but was very good. More like a very precisely hit volley!

Also, Hughes chose to play a lot of fringe players and youngsters so a thrashing was pretty much on the cards before the game even started.

Saw the goal on twitter and after how sky Sports were creaming themselves over it I was expecting better tbh.

We’ve all seen him score better goals like that. Reading away, Liverpool at home even Chelsea away in our league winning season.

Has mark hughes ever lost a game in his life?

Theres always some reason why his team were unfortunate to lose. Scheduling today.

1 game in 4 is a guaranteed tonking from them.

Will Mark Hughes get into trouble for admitting he gave up the game even before it started?

Wolves got done for something similar a few years ago.

Scheduling is an issue tbf this time of year, games come quick and fast, and because of tv not for all sides (we play 4 games in 213 hours - man Utd to Huddersfield, while Arsenal and West Ham do 4 games in 290 ish hours, three days extra rest time).

Not that it would make a difference Hughes, you were getting punted most of the time playing three games in a calendar month...

Mark Hughes could probably get penalised for weakening his team, in preparation for their home game against Newcastle..

Intrigued as to how the relegation battle will develop, with it being very tight now - but feel Swansea will still go and West Ham to manage the chop.

Have a feeling that Palace will give Man City a good game later today.

The battle at the bottom, has become intriguing.

There are no Obvious teams at present, the bottom 6 could all go on a run.

This season imho, we are seeing Clubs  With  decent squads, but no real poor teams.

I thought in the recent past Sunderland, Newcastle of old, and Hull were PL strugglers

and poor. Its a question I suppose of Which clubs, just cant find any decent rythm or

Bouts of consistency into March. There are 'nt at present no lap dogs, ready for the taking.

Clubs in danger with weak squads, but with decent i ndividuals, are W.Ham, Newcastle, WBA,

Stoke, Swansea.  Then any bottom 8 who suddenly take 3 big hits on injuries...

January Transfers I cant see being a saving or redeeming month, for alot of those lower teams.

Plus any 2-3 teams outside the top 6, could go on a catastrophic run, at the wrong end of the season and can easily be yanked back into a relegation battle...

How long before the Stoke board pull the trigger on Hughes?

Can't be too long. Found these stats on the Stoke forum. The number of hammerings they get is staggering. This season alone they conceded 3+ on 6 different occasions.

Everton 4 Stoke 0
Newcastle 5 Stoke 1
Spurs 3 Stoke 0
Chelsea 3 Stoke 0

14/15:
Arsenal 3 Stoke 0
Stoke 1 Man City 4

15/16:
Leicester 3 Stoke 0
Man Utd 3 Stoke 0
Stoke 0 Everton 3
Liverpool 4 Stoke 1
Stoke 0 Spurs 4

16/17:
Stoke 1 Man City 4
Stoke 0 Spurs 4
Palace 4 Stoke 1
Liverpool 4 Stoke 1
Spurs 4 Stoke 0
Stoke 1 Arsenal 4

17/18:
Stoke 0 Chelsea 4
Man City 7 Stoke 2
Stoke 0 Liverpool 3

Imagine the reaction on here to stats like that.

How are their fans taking it?

DD has definitely had a hair transplant

Must have got advice on Conte about it.

Apparently Conte's had 3, if i'd gone through that much effort and done it 3 times i'd have some kind of style, what a fucking mess he looks.

Apparently Stoke have won 7 away games in the last two seasons and two of them were cup games (Stevenage and Doncaster).

Palace doing really well.

Big fan of their supporters too, nice to see a singing section actually sing like in Europe... rather than just stand up and occassional scream “wheyyyyy” when the away fans sing something ironic....
