Set pieces

A keeper that doesn’t dominate his box makes it harder for their defence.

Quite a lot of set pieces conceded, kasper could come and claim, and take the pressure of the defence, and give his defenders confidence in the keeper at set pieces.

The problem is we have too many players back at corners which get in the way and prevents kasper coming and claiming the ball

No disrespect to kasper, but this is his weakness, and probably what stops the big boys coming in for him.

As a centre half, no better feeling than a big shout from the keeper, and dominating the situation, but the lack of it causes nerves.

He should be pushing his players out the way to get it, or if he feels they are in his way, reposition them.

I would say most teams that do their homework, put a lot of players around him, as they identify the weakness

This is amateurish...Puel seems to be concentrating on making us  a better passing side fair enough..but i  dont think that  defending set pieces  is his strong point...he really needs to delegate and bring in a specialist coach to sort this out..NFL teams have coaches for all departments of the game , i think this is way overdue..the longer this goes on the more other teams will exploit it

Goalkeeper to come out to catch or punch the ball - not do strange, inexplicable star-jumps on his line.

OR

As cropstonfox has just said:   Huth.

a defender that doesn't completely lose his man and look like he's playing Stuck in the Mud wouldn't go a miss

Anything in or near to the six yard box should be the keeper's. It doesn't help that Kasper seems to be glued to the goal line. Lately there has been evidence that he has been dominating his box much more but yesterday's goal was a good example of a player getting a free header and a keeper who should have claimed a ball on the edge of the six yard box in the middle of the goal.

Kasper is a great keeper but this is definitely his Achilles heel.
