Is the fact that there are 11 names significant? It could be a line up for an important game, hence 1-11 but it is not one I can think of.

Ah - that would be telling! Don't wanna give a clue, as you'll understand when the answer comes out

Interesting answer, but no.

Great question, Bloomfield, was racking my brains trying to think of an Englishman who won something.

Ok, I'm going to give a similar one a go, hope I don't miss anything:

Leicester

Winchester

Watford

Sheffield

Manchester

???

What comes next and why?

It looks like a list of places I've got stuck while hitch-hiking.

But - I think it's the birthplaces of our recent England players. Heskey, Guppy, Walker, Vardy, Drinkwater and Maguire (Sheffield)

Good one.

OK -  no confirmation from Aus but I'm pretty sure it's the right answer. Maguire hasn't been capped yet so strictly the answer would be 'players who've been called into the England squad'. Anyway - here's the next one. No 'fill in the gap' this time, I just want an explanation of this list:

1) Mahrez

2) Vardy

3) Drinkwater

4) Vardy

5) Vardy

6) Okazaki

7) Vardy

8) Vardy

9) Mahrez

10) Vardy

11) Schlupp

12) Vardy

13) Schlupp

won penalties in 15/16

Excellent.  12 of them were fouled, the other one was Mahrez's shot handballed by Cissokho at Villa. 13 penalties in a season is I think a PL record - can anyone confirm? Crazy to think that if Mahrez hadn't missed those two we might have won the league by 14 points!

Two players appeared for City in both the 1961 and 1963 FA Cup Finals and both legs of the 1964 and 1965 League Cup Finals. Can you name them?

Banks and (based on the law of averages) Graham Cross?
