Thanks for confirming :D

Sticking with the Sunderland theme. Who was Martin O'Neill's boyhood hero? (He happened to be playing in the first match I attended at Filbert Street)

I know that MO'N was a Sunderland fan when growing up and I imagine the player in question was Irish but can't think who it is. Even before my time this one!

What is it with people answering questions correctly then immediately buggering off???

There's only one solution mate. You're going to have to moderate this thread 24/7 old chap :D

Alan Young?

Actually, I feel bad now.  It's a trick question.

The answer is Gordon Banks and Kenny Dalglish.

Or

Mark Wallington and Andy Gray

Or

Kasey Keller and Joe Jordan

You get the picture.

Well it makes me smile.  I'm a lot of fun at parties.
