Aesc Posted 27 January 2018 Share Posted 27 January 2018 His touch and his general link up play were better today. Good determination to get into the box for Fuchs' cross. Picked the more difficult option of shooting instead of passing to Barnes, but scores anyway. Funny what confidence can do.
kyleolly Posted 27 January 2018 Share Posted 27 January 2018 I think he was carrying an injury early in his leicester career and looked overweight, now he’s starting to look fitter and clinical in front of goal. I’d like to see him strike up a partnership with Vardy.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 27 January 2018 Share Posted 27 January 2018 Lacked confidence early on but starting to show why we bought him, Puel is impressed with his improvement which means we will be seeing more of him for sure
AlloverthefloorYesNdidi Posted 27 January 2018 Share Posted 27 January 2018 I'm not really keen on his finishing, but i saw him slide tackle someone high up the pitch today, so i'm won over, he's got potential Loan him out to Barnsley

M0901 Posted 27 January 2018 Share Posted 27 January 2018 We're so used to playing Vardys way, that we lose sight of the fact we have a very good finisher in Iheanacho. He's extremely clinical he just needs the service. When Vardy leave I'd like to think we could play to Kelechis strengths. He'd be a 15 goal a season man if we did. They're different players but if you create chances for him, he's more likely to stick it in the net than Vardy. In my opinion. 2
Clever Fox Posted 27 January 2018 Share Posted 27 January 2018 His two goals were of the highest order. The first he bent it around the defender and have the keeper no chance. The second was a good team effort but he met that cross brilliantly. Now that we have better midfielders he offers us another way to play while still playing football. Definitely worth keeping him. Freeman's Wharfer Posted 27 January 2018 Share Posted 27 January 2018 He's a goal scorer. One of those that if he gets a shot off at goal then more often than not it'll be on target. If he can add work rate to that gift and fashion more shooting opportunities for himself then he'll be deadly.

Used to like Michael Owen as a player but he's a right dickbutt now.

Exactly, lots of players take chances on if they feel they can score it is part of being a striker... he scored so you can’t argue with his decision

He might be among the top five most clinical players in world football. It's just that the other elements are nowhere near that level. 1
coolhandfox Posted 27 January 2018 Share Posted 27 January 2018 Everyone seems to be getting carried away, yes he's looking better, but he's scoring goals against Fleetwood and Peterborough! We didn't spend £25 million for him to be a flat track bully againt league one teams!

He puts himself in the positions and he finds the corners of the net. He looks a natural finisher and has to be given game time in the first 11 imo
foxes21 Posted 27 January 2018 Share Posted 27 January 2018 I’d start him against the Swans to save Vardy playing twice in 3 days.
