Iheanacho

I don't think he's a drop in replacement for Vardy. Iheanacho seems to need a lot of supporting players. The Peterborough match was perfect for him. He had Barnes, Diabate and Gray supplying him. As brilliant as Albrighton, Shinji, Ndidi and Matty James are, they're not going to give him the same kind of service. Perhaps linking up well with Mahrez and Silva could work though.

The assist for the second goal was from Fuchs, who has always been capable of crossing like that, as has Albrighton.

Undoubtedly he'll be able to convert those. It'll be interesting to see how he does if we start subbing Vardy for him. He seems more of a killer final ball type player. Someone who would be amazing on the end of a Gray or Mahrez run. Or on the end of some deft skill by DeBruyne. Vardy seems a more rounded player. And obviously Kelechi is young and developing. This isn't a criticism of him. I see him as highly specialised and think we'll need to change our tactics to best suit his strengths rather than assume he's a drop in replacement for Vardy.

You are being absurd. Negotiating wage increase for what exactly, playing a couple of games for half a season? If anything Newcastle is using this to strong arm feyernoord into accepting their bid for Jorgensen as that is the only purpose I see this could serve.

Not sure what is absurd about a suggestion that happens all the time now at the top level?  But clearly you know more than everyone else so i will bow to your greater knowledge and wait and see how this plays out.

For now i will stand by my "absurd" prediction that its probably nothing more than a story "planted" in the papers by his agent to agitate for something better.

Sorry if my comment came across harsh, it wasn't intended so. He is a grateful kid and really thankful to be playing for a club like Leicester city, you may not know. I mean he goes down on his knees for every goal he scores, that may not mean much to you guys but from where we from, it means he is humble, grateful and will not bite the finger that fed him. Knowing his personality and seeing your comment painting him as though a gold digger didn't go down well with me. He is not like the Belgian kids that mouth of to the press at any discomfort.

A front four of Iheanacho, Mahrez, Silva and Gray could be quite effective against the sort of teams that will come to be KP to park the bus.

Not quite sure what you mean by "...you guys..."?!?   Coming from a religious background, i could quite easily be offended by that comment but seeing as im not really interested in the culture of "being offended at every opportunity", i'll just let that one slide by.

Its also a good job im not from Belgium as I suspect that most Belgians would be pretty offended by your comment also....and I wonder what your reaction might be if a Belgian had made similar comment had been made in reverse about "you guys"...?

My comment was aimed at his agent more than the player but i think there is plenty of evidence in football today to support my view of players with very little loyalty to their clubs or evidence of being churchgoers that actively engage in "kissing badges" and "public praying for the cameras"

I dont consider Religion or social stereotyping to be a debate for this forum and i wouldnt normally even bother to voice a public opinion on such topics but I do think you should be slighjtly more cautious when generalising about other people that you dont even know (ie "you guys", "belgian kids") when you are tyring to defend someone who you probably dont even know either

(PS  De Bruyne, Kompany, Vertongen and Courtois are all belgian but i cant recall them ever complaining to the press...?)

Ok I agree to an extent that I was generalising on the aspect of "you guys" concerning religious gestures, But on the other hand of the "Belgian kids" I'm compelled by experience to remain firm. First off, I don't know how on earth you ended up being a Belgian, as my Belgian reference was totally random, maybe Providence. That being said, As a Chelsea fan i was opportuned to have known kdb, lukaku, courtois and Eden, and of these 4 it's only Eden who have not caused a stir in the press by suggesting how they have already left the club if they were not played. Chelsea had to loose cech because courtois was adamant that it's first team or he goes, even now he still talks Marca of returning to Spain very soon. Lukaku mouths off every other week if he feels he's deserving more. And kdb, after he returned from weder Bremen started making noise about leaving once it was obvious mourinho favoured Oscar over him. They are talented yes, but they talk too much without regards.

At finishing? Name one.

There isn't.

And my opinion is based on his career achievements. His goal to shots on goal ratio is ridiculous. Some three times that of Aguero for example. But Iheanacho won't create his own goals like Aguero will. In a goalscoring opportunity Iheanacho supersedes Aguero, but his other game aspects are problematic.

Do you think Aguero, Kane, Salah or Vardy for that matter, would have hit the player on the line?

Still think he's one of the top five finisher in the world?

yes

kane missed a penalty - different scenario of play but same distance and one less blocker to contend with

vardy - has missed lots of easy chances

salah has been on fire this season, at roma his finishing was hit and miss

aguero. well AGUERRROOOOOOOOOOO (no complaints about him!)

fortuitous blocks can happen now and then

He done everything right with that chance IMO.

He controlled the ball, steadied himself and hit it hard and high. He was unlucky more than missing a sitter but he did all the right things.

I've only seen one replay under the stand, but it looked like he should have gone across the keeper to the left hand side of the goal, rather than to the right where you had their players?

I'd like to see him have a run of games. His pass to Vardy for the goal on saturday was sublime in my opinion, and got very little coverage. I thought he should have gone to the keepers right with his shot, but he has a lot of quality which will only benefit us with confidence, and a run of starts.

Yes, I also Want to to see him get more game time.I Would be now playing him in the Rest of

the seasons games,including FA Cup.

I have liked Shinji, but we need to move from him as 1st choice. He doesnt Score enough

Goals, from His Position.Nacho gives us a different style, plus a better conversion Potential.

If. Shinji finished this season with 7-9 more goals,it would create a great scenario..and make

me think differently. With Vardy being the 17-22 Goal striker we need the Support Striker,

Hitting Simular figures,or at least 12-16 per season.Plus others putting in a few.

For top 6 and above,in the future..and This where Nacho can make His Mark..

No1 Striker...22+

No2 Striker...16+

3rd  scorer....10+

From defenders 8+

From the Rest...12+

If Your defence keeps the goals against down to under 33- or even 25 per season,

Obviously,A fair Share of 1-0s would mean less conversion rate needed.

Thats why, IMO to Continually compete for top 7,top 5 or even top 2,those conversion

Rates are necessary...I believe a Nacho with and after Vardy, would be the man,now

We Invest Game time in...

Yeah, basically hit it back where it came from (goalwards) not actually back at Diabate, but this is sometimes the hardest thing to do in football as it's more natural to blast it under pressure.

Think he's best behind Vardy and Diabate. Still 50/50 about him.

Actually believe it's right in Okazaki in becoming more of a substitute now later on in the game. His tireless work-rate can prove beneficial when the opposition defence become more fatigued as the game goes on.

Looking at it, he's so left footed he could never have put it to the left hand side on his best foot. So so went the wrong side with his good foot, rather than the right way with his wrong foot.... if that makes sense.
