FA Cup draw - Mon 4th December - Fleetwood or Hereford (A)

Recommended Posts

Fleetwood are pretty decent, they're the only team to have convincingly beat our high flying U23s this season.

Hopefully their pitch is of decent quality, don't want Silva doing a Mendy.

Also, they're never going to get a sell-on fee from us for Vardy.

Best draw we've had in years. Rather Fleetwood myself as I've done Hereford.

Banker for TV. Lowest team ranked against champions of last year, or Vardy back to his old stomping ground.

Will be our game, Man United (as usual), Merseyside derby, Forest v Arsenal and probably Norwich v Chelsea.

Seem to remember us drawing 0-0 away at Hereford United about 17/18 years ago, but won the replay

haha... THIS is the side that was held to a 0-0 draw in 1999:

1 Tim Flowers   32
24 Andy Impey   28
11 Steve Guppy   30
3 Frank Sinclair7   28
18 Matt Elliott   31
4 Gerry Taggart   29
6 Muzzy Izzet   25
7 Neil Lennon   28
14 Robbie Savage   25
27 Tony Cottee   34
9 Emile Heskey   21
SUBSTITUTES
5 Steve Walsh7   35
15 Phil Gilchrist   26
29 Stefan Oakes   21
32 John Hodges   19
37 Theo Zagorakis   28

Beat them 2-1 in the replay at Filbo, pretty sure I was there!

Also played them in the League Cup and League One since:

11.04.2009 3 - 1 League One
28.12.2008 2 - 1 League One
19.09.2006 3 - 1 League Cup 2

Is that a referee at 0:21? :wes:

Liverpool v Everton will definitely be a TV pick.

Agree, I just meant how tough the draw was on our neighbours compared to ours.

Brighton v Palace will be spicy too but I'd rather they televise the lower vs higher league clubs rather than all premier league ties but the angle of it being a derby justifies it for Liverpool v Everton.

Fleetwood holds 5500 and Hereford 5000 so looking at 1250 tickets either way wiv 20% allocation, same as Bournemouth really

No chance. It’s 15% to the rules. Fleetwood’s normal away end holds 830. Hereford will be subject to local H&S as Edgar Street is a tip and falling apart.

The thing putting off Flask Army may be that seats will be very few
