Would have been a massive psychological boost had we won that on pens. Don't underestimate how much that might deflate us, especially after the loss at the weekend.

Only started to play football with Mahrez and Gray on the pitch. Rest of the match prior to the substitutions was forgettable.

That we managed to get to extra-time was down to a dubious penalty and that was our only lifeline that gave the team some impetus and motivation.

Poor penalties from Vardy and Mahrez.

It's a head thing.

we did superbly to get to penalties if this was the case.

 

Couple of notes for you:
Man City had no shots on target from the end of the first half until right at the end of first half extra time (Yaya's free-kick).

In that same time, we had 5. 

 

Not too bad for a side that showed 'absolutely nothing'!!!
