So we got him on a loan to buy deal but did not get the price Even Rudkins not that fecking stupid.

I don’t think anyone can deny he comes across as very ignorant and stubborn in his excuses (in general not just on this discussion as I can believe the recruitment team are that stupid) yet he doesn’t seem to have and bollocks.

This was caused by Andy Carroll charging through him in the final minutes of the West Ham game  The punishment ? Just a free kick.

You could tell he'd done some pretty serious damage when it happened, he kept holding it for the rest of the game.

I really wish we had seen more of him this season. We really need a top CB to partner Maguire next season, and this guy could be it, but we have seen so little of him to properly judge. An opportunity missed by Puel and I suspect if Puel stays, Drago will leave and we will be in the market for a CB again. 

 

Lots of options out there of course (at a cost!) but can't help but think we may miss out on one right in front of us, due to Wes being preferred all season.

It seems utterly bonkers that we would let him go.

Unless the Evans rumours are true, then him and Harry would be the central pair with Morgan  and Drago fighting it out or waiting for a chance. 

20 million is a steal imo.
