When we treat the country's biggest cup competition with such contempt, we deserve to get knocked out. This is embarrassingly shit. We won't achieve anything in the league this season so we should atleast be trying to win this. Really poor.

Sick and tired of it now.

Could have slept through this easily, and wouldn’t have missed a thing.

Yeah had the first half recorded and fast forwarded it with the aim of watching the chances. Stopped it once and caught up with real time fairly quickly.

All this crap about 'what a culture shock for Silva'. We seem to think that foreign players have never played cup games at lower league clubs.

He's used to play against small clubs.

Still its funny.

Sporting CP this season in portuguese Cup played against a 3rd tier league club, in a small stadium that was full with 2000 people. Against a team with a 300.000€ season budget.

And that game was only 8 days after Sporting CP played against Barcelona in Camp Nou.

Its always a bit funny playing in those different 'worlds'.

You just asked the forum what more we can expect in a game against a bang average league 1 side languishing in mid table

Yeah you're absolutely right, I'm wrong, we're that poor a side I'm genuinely concerned for the club's future ????

Managers shouldn’t be suprised when they chuck a load of players together for the first time in a competitive match and fail to find an attacking flow.

Pick out players if you will, but the choice in line-up / formation means there’s a lack of cohesion and understanding all across the pitch
