Could do with another lower league opposition, this time at home - assuming we beat Fleetwood of course.

The team he put out should have put Feetwood away. That same team, more or less, beat Liverpool in the league cup.

Had we been playing a team higher up the pyramid I'm sure he'd have picked a stronger team. He's right to think a team full of fringe players could beat a league one team, they let him down.

People are talking like we're already through.

 

Let yesterday be another lesson in expectations.

 

Palace and Watford should have been lessons learnt about not turning up but obviously it's still not hitting home.

(I appreciate the examples were different players, different teams, but it's the same principle and the whole squad should be learning)

Ok fair point it's just I find annonying that sides put out weak sides in the cup. I would love to see us win the cup. Look at the holders arsenal and the side theyve put out.

We're in the draw, nothing wrong with looking at who we'd like to get should we progress.

Ordinarily would say Cov away or something, turn up and let the locals see some decent football, comfortable away win. Given yesterdays shambles, the two days of embarrassment aren't worth it. If we're not giving it a go then we may as well just go to City away and get it over with.

I don't want Cov, it'll be there cup final and just imagine the pain of getting knocked out of the cup by them. Let them have they big cup game against Spurs, a repeat of the 87 final. That pitch at Cov is not to be trusted.

Coventry on their cow shed of a pitch would make it very uncomfortable. The game would descend into scrappy hoofball and they would have a chance of winning. At the KP we would put 5 past them though.

Watched a bit of the rugby on tv earlier and it makes the Fleetwood pitch look like ours!! lol nice ground though I agree
