Man City make £50million offer for Riyad Mahrez?

Recommended Posts

Really thinking Riyad need to look at his advisors as this is the second time he’s Gone Awol from the club andbno move has happened leaving a very large egg on his face, last year he was reported camping out at an airport this year he seems to be here there and aevery Fooking where!!

The guys that are filling his head with a so called super move to a super club need to back off he needs to find advisors that won’t Pi 55 off the owners the rest of the squad and the fans Riyad needs to stay put until he gets the green light that he’s been sold not go AWOL like a petulant child as his advisors are telling him too !

but we have a couple of hours to go till deadline day is over will he be on the move will his paperwork go in a few seconds too late who knows !!

If Riyad wants to go he needs to wait til the summer as this move to Man City just smelled of desperation cover for sane whilst he’s out, but then when he’s back would Pep use him as a squad member or keep him on on the bench ?

"Understand that City never made even one bid for Mahrez, there were informal discussions, Leicester City made a proposal worth £95m this morning and City walked away. Their absolute “top valuation of player was £60m”, no more. And: Mahrez was a target for long-term position of wide player post-Sanchez not happening, not a short-term fix because of Sane’s ankle injury." Jamie Jackson on the guardian live blog

To all of you, who are slating Mahrez...Whats he done wrong...????

Hes not gone missing, he was not expected to travel with squad , due to transfer speculation.

Hes not thrown a strop, his teammates are dissapointed, but not upset with Riyhad.

So where is this hate campaign, coming from.He put in a transfer request..FFS

Do you know that first hand, or are you speculating like everybody else?

Don’t care if he eventually leaves for less, we stood firm and showed we won’t be bullied, or if Man City did everything by the book then I’m still happy as it’s a big F you to all the London based media and pundits, you bunch of W~nk stains.

You don’t think any of this has come from either him or his agent? Really?

His agent must be a dick to think this was the best way to engineer a big money move  and am less impressed with Mahrez for listening.

Still if gets his form back and apologises to the first team for being an idiot maybe we can get another 15 games from him before he leaves

You could've copy and pasted this from the summer

Thank **** this bollocks is nearly over. For all the hype, so little actually happens.

Only got a match to play in a couple of hours, too.

Ha ha - I forgot that . WTF were we doing agreeing to play on deadline day ?- everyone associated with the management of the club OUT

Unfortunately most bookies had 50 quid bet caps on... which further reinforced me thinking this was all trumped up bollocks.

William Hill had much higher bet caps on the Mahrez market - cap of 300 quid on potential returns (equivalent to 300 quid bet cap at evens), resetting every 24 hours.

I lumped on big, thank fvck for Vichai

Just hope the manager and squad have been able to focus on this game, they shouldn't have games on the last day of the window. We could've played last night in any case.

As others have already mentioned, the whole "Manchester City have approached Leicester City over Riyad Mahrez" was all but a smokescreen to test the water. No way could they afford to dish out another £80m to £90m (or more) in January, when they've already spent £57m on Laporte and £3.5m on Jack Harrison in a season that has seen them pay in the excess of £215m for Mendy, Walker, Silva, Ederson, Danilo and Douglas Luiz.

Hello, FFP.

I suppose they'll be back in the summer.
