Can’t imagine Puel taking any crap from Mahrez. Big boy trousers all round I think.

Innit. I can imagine him giving him a good clip round the ear and telling him to man the **** up, however you say that in French.

I bet Ranieri / Shakespeare babied him over it which is why he threw such a colossal strop last season.

So what does Mahrez do now?  Screwed our preparations somewhat for tonight's game.

He shouldn't have left his squad mates in limbo until a firm offer of 90 million was agreed.

Cart before the horse.  These agents need to **** off.  Rules need to be drawn up with respect to transfer etiquette.  The current system is appalling.

Hats off to the owners.  Priced out Man City good and proper.

We're massive.

Mahrez is pretty experienced at trying to re-integrate into the squad after an embarrassing transfer window gaffe.

amazing to see how many other clubs fans think we are greedy and Riyad isnt worth £65mil let along £95mil,

guess most of them thought the Coutinho deal was a good one, dont look at the stats over the past 3 season where Riyad has more goals and assists compared to Coutinho.

guess because we are Liverpool or a big club and he isnt Brazilian

hypocrites

There is an interesting scandal going on in Vietnam at the moment, an American English teacher used a vulgarism in conjunction with a national Vietnamese hero on facebook and thousands attacked him for it. He has lost his job because of it and had to apologise to the govt, on television

But they thought it was appropriate to send one of those kids to us, we'd accept it (that's where my point stems from) and get them ready to play the likes of West Brom and Burnley? They felt good enough to play them against us in League Cup but not feel comfortable enough playing them against teams underneath us in the table at the moment. They don't need to be Sane or Mahrez good to play the lower half of the PL and Basel.

That's before we get onto Man City's network of clubs across the world where they could recall a player or two.

Not now no that's why they have hardly any appearances between them, ones for the future. Any player coming our way would probably get more time than at city but would still not start every game they'd be a player to develop.  Not that either of those two were part of any proposed deal.

hardly anyone loans players with a recall option these days, but let's say they recalled one from one of their other teams they are clearly in the market for proven top class quality to help them win all four competitions and have injury problems which could well worsen given their fixture list.
