Don’t want to take this thread off the Hazard topic any further, but..there’s no way Iheancho is going to be wanted back at Man City, regardless of how well he does for us (let’s be right, he ain’t getting 20-30 goals a season consistently for the next x seasons). Man City shop in a different striker market to us.

Man City shop in a different striker market to us. They can buy him back to sell him. He don't need to be good enough for them. Just good enough to make a profit on.

Great point however it depends on how the clause has been written. Is it 1st refusal. Is it a set fee. Or is it just the option to match any bid on the table. What’s in that for Iheanacho though? He doesn’t have to agree to go back, we jut have to accept their bid. Unless they give him a good signing on fee I don’t see the benefit for him

Nick Posted 14 June 2018 Share Posted 14 June 2018 Hazard the time is right for a step higher. An adventure in the Premier League beckons. His agent and father were spotted in Valencia. Borussia Dortmund, Olympique Lyon and Leicester City would also think of Thorgan Hazard. According to the German Bild, the 25-year-old brother of Eden Hazard is the possible replacement for Riyad Mahrez at Leicester City. Mahrez wants to go to Manchester City. There is a bid of 20 million euros. Hazard is still under contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach until mid-2020, hoping to catch 30 million. Thorgan Hazard ended up with Racing Lens at Chelsea, where he was quickly loaned to Zulte Waregem and then Borussia Mönchengladbach.

STUHILL Posted 14 June 2018 Share Posted 14 June 2018 Would be very happy with this. Good age and pedigree with a point to prove coming back to the Prem. I also think we are the perfect club for him to progress, he will get game time and help us push for top 6/7 Get it done!

lcfc sheff Posted 14 June 2018 Share Posted 14 June 2018 he's worth no more than 25m euros so the bidding starting at 20m euros looks promising. Not that it's my money mind...

Taken from a Belgian blog (http://www.voetbalbelgie.be/nl/article.php?id=137400), based on a story ran by German weekly SportBild last week already. I'd love me a bit of Thorgan in the afternoons (and evenings). But he's not a straight Mahrez replacement, usually operates on the left wing out of all places. Someone to play on the right, CAM and on the left. Then we can have Diabate as first reserve and Albrighton as our utility man. We lack creativity with Riyad in the team already.
