Larry_LCFC Posted 11 February 2018 Share Posted 11 February 2018 Forget the league. It's done. We need to go all guns blazing in the cup. Beat Sheffield and we are in the quarter final fgs! No bloody excuse not to walk all over them at home.
RowlattsFox Posted 11 February 2018 Share Posted 11 February 2018 Given recent form, what is full strength? Our best performances have been in the cup. Nacho and Vardy upfront, Mahrez and Diabate on the wings, Iborra and Silva in midfield.
CosbehFox Posted 11 February 2018 Share Posted 11 February 2018 Why are folk saying forgot the league? We are a point behind 7th. There’s a 90% chance 7th will be a Europa League spot. Plenty to play for; full strength every game now, no ****ing about
Popular Post truebluethroughandthrough Posted 11 February 2018 Popular Post Share Posted 11 February 2018 A long time ago, there was a thread thats title was something along the line of ‘who do we have to thank for our success’. I posted that we should thank my 5 year old daughter. The very first game I took her to was the dire 0-0 v Leeds, the first home game in the season we won the championship. I won’t go in to too much detail but she hated it, and we left early. As we left I told her ‘ so much for you bringing the good luck with you’. To which she replied ‘give it some time daddy!’ Confused I asked her what she meant. she then told me she had brought some of her magical dust and had left it around her seat. Many months later after clinching the title I told her that her dust had worked and she casually said’ told ya! It’s strong stuff!’ I had wrote in my original post that I would take her again when her dust was required again. My daughter is now nearly 10 and I’m bringing her and her little brother (for his first time) for this game. Ive asked her to bring the dust with her and after half hour of persuading her it’s not too childish at all, she agreed!!!! So, I’ve got this one lads no worries, mark my words. As Holly says, it’s strong stuff! 5
FrankieADZ Posted 11 February 2018 Share Posted 11 February 2018 id love us to go full strength with a us playing Gray, Diabate, Mahrez and Vardy in the team but i think Puel wont play a full strength team sadly, hope im wrong though

We need to go after the FA cup, no trying to keep fringe players happy. Strongest team please.

chris_lcfc_85 Posted 11 February 2018 Share Posted 11 February 2018 Simply no need to make 9 or 10 changes, we don't have a game for over a week after this so let's do what we need to do
peterborofox Posted 11 February 2018 Share Posted 11 February 2018 They had a good win yesterday. Play a strong team and get a win under the belt. Kasper Amartey Dragovic Maguire Chillwell Iborra Ndidi Silva Diabete Gray Vardy
GingerrrFox Posted 11 February 2018 Share Posted 11 February 2018 To be honest, with how some of our “strongest” players are playing. I think I would rather change it up. dayday Posted 11 February 2018 Share Posted 11 February 2018 We have a great chance of going through and coming from a generation that loved the fa cup I’m really hoping Mr Puel puts his strongest side out.
David Hankey Posted 11 February 2018 Share Posted 11 February 2018 If we can't beat the Blades at home then we need to take a long hard look at ourselves. The result should never be in any doubt. The manager and players should focus on this game as though the next step was the Final.

oxtonfox Posted 11 February 2018 Share Posted 11 February 2018 Lose and we are goosed. Interesting theory of history repeating itself here with Puel. Last year his team finished 8th and he took team to a Wembley final albeit League not FA Cup. Then he got sacked. This year we finish 8th and get to final and put up great performance and lose a classic to Man C or Man U. I’d take that now but would not support him losing his job. Gazza M Posted 11 February 2018 Share Posted 11 February 2018 I think Puel needs to be thinking about who he sees as the future and the preferred system and stick with those players going forward for the rest of the season unless injury/suspension strikes. I think a re-build is required in the summer, especially at full back. Chilwell blatantly isn't going to be up to it. Simpson is steady but not the type of offensive minded RB we need. So for now, for the rest of the season, I would try and accomodate this 18, but believe we will need 6 or 7 newbies in a busy summer, with some going for different reasons. Kasper Simpson Dragovic Maguire Fuchs Iborra Ndidi Gray Iheanacho Diabate Vardy Subs: Hamer, Morgan, Amartey, Silva, Mahrez, Albrighton, Chilwell (Okazaki when fit.) Tringfox Posted 11 February 2018 Share Posted 11 February 2018 I can’t wait for this one, moan, grumble, whinge all we like but our fantastic little club has never been in a better position since we formed! We are 8th in the league and still on a cup run, I’m convinced this little French mumbling dude knows the the time of day once he gets the right players and the right formation to make us a proper side!!!

I think 7th is more likely than winning the FA cup considering our remaining fixtures and the teams left in the FA cup.
