Only been the once to see a Banksy pop up show when I was like 17. Really need to go and get stuck in.

Anyone that sees my posts on here knows I’m a massive advocate for potting in the north of England but I’m not sure anywhere tops Bristol the 3 or 4 times I’ve been.

Sickened by it I really am

Don’t know what to tell you. They just ale really well and fair is, ultimately, imo, fair.

Nobody taking the bankers away from Leeds mind. New sports bar where Roxy lanes used to be above Tesco by the way, called Pinnacle. I was skeptical but good (large) choice of beers on and they show the footy.

And don’t let me forget about DollHouse!

All seriousness though I do have to say it’s the only thing that annoys me about Leeds, not enough pubs that show the footy. Brotherhood is decent but small, and there are your other chain pubs but there’s not really a go to since Sids got rid of sky sports and then ultimately closed down.

Dollhouse ahahaha ffs

Agreed though man, Brotherhood by far the best gaff for football, maybe Parkside if if its terrestrial. There used to be a cracking little place on Dock St called PIN that used to show it, was like sitting in someone's front room x north with a big sky sports projector, think it went in 2015/16

There may well be a better thread for this but I’m in Bristol at the minute, and it absolutely amazes me that every single day here feels like a weekend. The pubs and bars are always absolutely rammed. The weather is clearly helping but what a gaff it is.

Thatchers Blood Orange. Basically an alcopop but lovely in the sun on the harbour side.

When the sun is out, it’s very much like that. Does have a slight London feel in the summer. King Street is lovely

Wapping Wharf too that’s very unique. A place that’s made full use of its water front which is nice to see.

Fellas of a London distinct

Whats the decent pubs around Angel/Islington? About a year ago I had a walk down there and it was cracking but I can’t remember any names.

Ironically isn’t for tomorrow

The Albion is decent enough. Near where bojo used to live behind the station: earl of Essex, island queen and Charles lamb are good. By the market the three johns used to be fantastic. Down the pentonville road the castle is THE spot for outdoor pub flexing. The old queens head gets crazy later at night. If you walk up upper st towards Highbury pretty much every bistro/cafe is decent quality food. It’s a great area to live and socialise imo

Literally after I posted it - it all clicked, all off Camden Passage.

Got this earmarked as a potential for pre-match tomorrow. Mad how I've never really ventured slightly off Euston Road if in that area, there seem to be an unreal amount of classic London corner pubs about.

Did have a good night round Highbury & Islington station one night after Artic Monkeys at Finsbury Park, mind.

Would advise getting there early and/or booking. The terrace will be rammed  with the ‘living my best life paying £2k a month rent for a studio crying myself to sleep every night’ Islington crowd. Yes agreed around H&I station is excellent, the lamb is a brilliant pub but Arsenal fans only
