Spurs 5 (FIVE) - Leicester 4 (FOUR)

Recommended Posts

I think this game just about sums us up.

Started the season losing 4-3 at Arsenal, ended it losing 5-4 at Spurs.

It's amazing we've stayed up in the premier league with Morgan, Fuchs, Chilwell and Simpson in defence.

Need massive investment all over the pitch, and possibly a new manager.

What a great game, gutted to lose that though after being 3-1 down.

The peeps on here asked for some fight, and determination, and attacking intent, and we got it today.

Enjoyable, push on for next season now WITH Puel and an overhaul in the summer.

Going forward we're a decent side. At the back we're not.

Keep the majority of the attackers, wholesale changes in defence and more intent when we play and I think we'll be ok.

I can accept defeats like today, the limp ones we've not turned up in have been the issue this season. Lots of work to be done.

No point in being too mad-  we have rediscovered our attacking spark which hopefully we can carry over to the next season, Nacho/Vardy have showed that they can work and our defence have made the case for their replacements even more pressing.   We all get some relief from having to endure our defence for few weeks now to boot as well!

Win-win-win-win all around scenario.

Played with eight players today.

Vardy, Iheanacho and Mahrez on fire, Silva chasing after the ball mostly, Iborra anonymous, our midfield overran and our defense unable to cope with the speed of Tottenham's attackers.

Morgan, Simpson (hampered by an injury, though), Fuchs, ... Jeez.

Cut Gray some slack, yes it wasn't the wisest idea to let the ball bounce off him. But he's no defender and never will be - where was Fuchs in that moment?

End-to-end stuff. Highly entertaining for the neutral, just as much as Wednesday's game was.

Wonder what that result means for Puel? 5 out of 21 now. Defenders let him down, but what about bringing Choudhury on at right-back? The guy was needed as a replacement for Silva more than anything.
