No idea how legit the figures are but a good idea of averages anyway. We're quite high up.

The last thing that list shows is how well supporters travel.

If anything that list is a balance between how small your home stadium is and how many Spurs supporters want to see your side play at Wembley.

Also Chelsea is in a false position as their average killing away day at Bournemouth is not included in the data set.

Really surprised at that, don’t believe Bournemouth are better travellers than anyone else let alone West Ham,spurs etc

The list is the average attendance of all away matches combined including the home attendance. So basically nothing to do with away attendances in particular.

Surprised Bournemouth is such an attractive fixture for other teams.

Bournemouth would for sure be bottom of the 'Home' tabulation for this, as I believe their 4 'Sheds' only hold 12,000 between them if you remove all the garden tools and old tins of paint from the main shed.

Yeah only took 1500 or so to Southampton. Did Palace sell out officially?

Numbers mean very little in terms of away support mind.

It's weird how it's often the only metric by which we ever judge how good a fanbase is in this country.

It's a small ground, so what. At least it's not a shit modern day bowl.

Bournemouth is a reside resort, not a huge City so I wouldn't doubt they'd be bottom.

Comparison of attendances is misleading and has always annoyed me. People bang on about Leeds - yeah, it's one of the biggest Cities in the Country with one club so of course they're going to have a bigger attendance than, say, Bournemouth or Watford.

How else are you meant to do it in a way that's actually measurable with the data we have, though?

Obviously you COULD do volume or consistency of sound but I don't think every ground is currently recording decibel levels is it?

I was at that one, there were plenty of seats still available unfortunately...

Ever thought that it might not be that easy to go to the end of the country, on a Wednesday night, right before Christmas? for anyone that has a vaguely normal life with a family and a job?

Very true, but there are about 8 sides in the Prem who will sell out there away end no matter were, when, what date,! Were not one of them, but FairPlay  to them

Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool, Everton, Arsenal, Spurs, West Ham, Chelsea all have much bigger fanbases than us though so it's easier to sell on.
