one player? we need some height all over the squad, we are a midget team!

Height is a bit of a weird obsession in British football, not that necessary. Besides in the two centrebacks and N'didi there's enough aerial presence.

We won the league with only three outfielders over 6'

Bright isn't what worries me, but physicality is. Watford and crystal palace both bullied our midfield last season and I'd like to see a bit more steel in there.

It wouldn't have been an issue if we'd have been playing well. At Newcastle away we came up against Merino and Isaac Hayden who are both physical but we won (admittedly we had Iborra and N'Didi starting). We beat Watford at home as well, we were sluggish in the games we got bullied, it wasn't a lack of physicality and more a lack of aggression in our play.

A rival team?

Can only be Manchester City. Replacement for Yaya Touré.

Definitely Arsenal according to The Telegraph (and most of Twitter this evening).

Yet half our fans would rather play Matty James :dunno:

I totally agree, We need to get more of a Physical presence in the Team. How long is it since we scored from a Corner or worse still defended one well. We always look like conceding at set plays against us. Palace are big and intimidate teams right from the off. Which allows Zaha do his thing. We only have Wilf in midfield who will win anything in the air. He needs another 6ft + in there with him. But It's a question of getting the balance right.
