Unless one was in the dressing room or in training sessions, there is just no way to know he really behaves behind the scenes.

 

Unless one is daft enough to base their opinion on the press conferences and other PR crap.

 

The quality of player he's bought in yes but remains to be seen. The fact he's filled a hole we have all said for two years no. Hence my comment about our recruitment.

 

Had we lost Simpson long term since he come in we would have been fecked.

 

Getting in a right back was not rocket science it was obvious. If he's as good as his stats and can do it in the prem it's a master stroke.

 

But as with any player I'm not getting carried away. Come November I may.

Most animated manager on the touchline we've had in a while. Pearson sometimes strangled the opposition player and told fans to fvck off but Puel does throw his arms up in anger regularly.

Puel has a history of managing clubs in France with both league and Europe on at the same time. With the players we're going after I think we can finish very high in the league next season without Europe then continue to develop as Claudio once said, zlowly zlowly.
