Poor performance, but the boys showed a strong mentally.

Need to find a way to score from open play.

Game against Sweden, could be a dull one.

I'm calling it now - the Sweden game is going to be appalling

On reflection, we created nothing from open play, and we've created very little in our other games either. If we get to the final we're the spawniest bastards ever, I don't care. come on England.

Yep, we're unspontaneous. Also interesting that the potential golden boot winner has scored most of his goals from penalties and set pieces.

Trippier really has arrived under the fazzyfox radar, fair play to him he's one of our most reliable players and scored a great penalty. As for Maguire, I'd love to know what the foreign commentators and panelists are making of him. We're proud of you Harry, bring home a medal!

We won ugly against a team trying to spoil, a referee that wasn't having a good game, and despite a heart-breaking late equaliser, we gutted through it and won on penalties.

The least English performance ever, and I'm bloody loving it.

Didn’t really see the Pickford save just it didn’t go in and then complete utter joy watching it on the re-run it is a very good stop

It was outstanding. They’ll be showing that for years to come..

Am I the only one that thought Puckford looked crap at the penalties. 1 decent save, but from a poor penalty.

Vardy played well in the final 15 mins though.

Yes, the three that were scored were excellent penalties.

Forget the fight from these lads and the heart shown, not seem that from an England team for a long long time

Can’t complain about drama in this tournament.

I’m assuming there’s a reasonable explanation for Vardy not taking one.

Surely Southgate doesn’t consider the others bar Kane better penalty takers than him.

The penalties he conceded were fantastic. Much better than anything the keepers last night were saving.

Without speaking for everyone else, I'd imagine so. Not everyone is Kasper's level. ;)
