l444ry Posted 22 June 2019 Share Posted 22 June 2019 If Harry does leave then we need another ready to use centre half. Soyuncu and Benkovic are nowhere near ready yet for a side aspiring to a top six place.

Hopefully they will be given a chance by BR. Is Lewis Dunk good enough for a side aspiring to a top 6 place? Probably not.

This is it. If we leave the seat down someone comes and piddles all over it, so as us males are so conscientious we lift the seat to avoid lady’s the distress of sitting on a wet seat or avoid the hassle of having to wipe it clean before going themselves. But what thanks do we get for it? Bloody none that’s what. Damned if we do damned if we don’t. You can’t win. I just commented that may be they would be ready if given a frigging chance. My point was that, them being full internationals has zero relevance when talking about whether or not they are ready for our first team. You used their international experience like it was proof they are ready, I was pointing out that it's not.
Happy Fox Posted 23 June 2019 Share Posted 23 June 2019 Fingers crossed if he does go, we get a fee in excess of £75m https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2019/jun/22/manchester-city-liverpool-x-rated-transfer-fees-premier-league-van-dijk-maguire It was said when Virgil van Dijk joined Liverpool for £75m that in a short space of time the fee would look a bargain, and that time has now arrived. If Manchester City succeed in persuading Harry Maguire to reject Manchester United’s overtures and sign for the champions instead, the price Leicester will ask is likely to match or even exceed what Liverpool paid for Van Dijk. Corky Posted 23 June 2019 Share Posted 23 June 2019 Man likes being praised by somebody is obviously massive news. God, transfer speculation is the worst part of football. Thank **** we have this confined to about three months per year.
