The thought of Archer and Broad facing the new ball has me guessing it'll be done and dusted within 20 minutes of them taking it.

They're not lasting for 50 overs or whatever is left, but they need to take every over as it comes and keep hanging in there.

 

The next wicket needs to last a long while because Archer, Broad and Leach will not survive the new ball.

Really, these two have to stick around until the new ball and for at least 10 overs into it to blunt its effect some.

 

This is totally possible, Cardiff 2009 was a similar situation.

Really can't see it happening as I think once one goes the others will follow, but I would love to see Broad come out in 4 jumpers and block everything before smashing one into David Warner

They can’t go past 7pm can they? I think that’s going to occur before anything else

Glenn McGrath actually comes across as quite a decent bloke. The 5-0 predictions he does is just mild pantomime leg pulling.

Its the high pitched squealing that the Australian's perform after taking a wicket that really grates, and im pretty sure its Warner that's the main culprit.

Redeeming features being they were some of the best players to ever play the game, same goes for Ponting.

I said a lot of these not all of them.

 

Travis Head, old mate Marnus, Harris, the bloody captain Tim Paine, Matty Wade. They had Kawaja playing for a big chunk of this series, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him post a score - add in to this Bancroft. 

 

Their bowling attack is without doubt world class and its won them this series (maybe?) but let’s not pretend this is a Goliath of an Australian side. 

 

Nathan Lyon may well be their greatest off spinner ever but he’s still a truly horrendous bloke, as is David Warner, which is more the point I was trying to make.
