I'm certain this is old too so he's joint with Salah now!

He'd have to have scored on the opening day of our 14/15 season by my admittedly bad math...

We beat qpr 5-1 don't even remember that lol and he scored

That was in May though, so not opening day. He didn't score in 14-15 opening day Vs Everton. Was a 2-2 draw!

He scored opening day -

15/16 - Sunderland home, won 4-2.

17/18 - Arsenal away, lost 4-3 and he scored twice.

18-19 - Man Utd away, lost 2-1.

20-21 - West Brom away, won 3-0 and he scored twice.

21-22 - Wolves home, won 1-0.

24-25 - Spurs home, drew 1-1

So 8, I was wrong, that graphic is up to date!

Knowing a lot of baggies fans one of my favourite shithouse celebrations where despite Covid and empty stands he went over to the empty stand where they normally give him dogs abuse and celebrated

Jamie Vardy really is like no other Premier League player.
Without playing a minute of Leicester City’s underwhelming pre-season campaign in which they lost three of their four games and scored only two goals, Vardy made himself available to start in their return to the top flight against Tottenham on Monday night with manager Steve Cooper in desperate need of a centre-forward.
A 37-year-old Vardy has been able to play less and less football over the last few years due to injuries and age, but he was ready, willing and able to play in Leicester’s hour of need. They were far better off for it, and Vardy showed just how unique a player he is.
We look at how the 37-year-old still carries so much threat: https://theanalyst.com/.../jamie-vardy-what-premier...

What’s quite interesting is that multiple managers have attempted to replace him/phase him out. Some of the time it was under a different guise, such as “he’s too old to play every week” etc. Vards has always made that difficult for them because his ability and quality when needed has shone through.

cooper comes in and is very clear that vardy is the main man at 37. Absolutely love it!

One of our big mistakes as a club has been trying to play in a way that doesn’t suit our best player and arguably the biggest icon our club has ever had. He turned down big moves to stay here. Yes we pay him

handsomely, but hate besides the point. He could have gone on to play champions league football every year and been payed much more.

someone said on here a while ago that they travel, and wherever they go, when people find out they are from Leicester, the first thing they bring up is Jamie vardy.

Sunderland 2015

Arsenal x2 2017

West Brom x2 2020

Wolves 2021

Spurs 2024

Have I missed one?

Unless they’re counting the Community Shield 2016?

United away. Friday night game.

I just love the fact he went to the manager and declared himself fit as it didnt sit right with him that there wasn't a senior striker available 💙 he loves this club and my goodness I cannot even think about the day he retires. The word legend is thrown around easily sometimes but he is one and we are so lucky to have him. Lets enjoy every second of this season of Vardy sh*thousery 💙🦊
