Tough one for you Mac.

How was Apollo 12 saved by a flick of a switch and who suggested it?

Also linked to the latter - what is J002E3?

Lightning strike after lift off screwed up telemetry and other systems, and one John Aaron suggested switching over to an auxiliary system to try and fix it. Could well have had to abort otherwise.

And J002E3 is what we think is what's left of a stage from that same mission, in earth rather than sun orbit because of a calculation mess up (I think).

I knew you'd get it. John Aaron saved the mission and Bean was the only one that knew where the switch was located. Pete Conrad never pulled the abort handle and laughed himself all the way into orbit.

Correct again, J002E3 is the the third stage of the Saturn V finally identified through data obtained through spectroscopy showing consistency in the paint used. I think it's in a half century cycle between heliocentric and geocentric orbit.

Brilliant!!!

Id have to go with the TV series M*A*S*H as my first choice.

Other possible subjects would be Sonic the Hedgehog, Goosebumps books, The Milky Way, The history of the International Space Station and UK Geography (though that last one might be a big vague)

In Orthodox churches, where are paintings or icons of saint Constantine always found?

I studied the Roman Empire during his lifetime; I could tell you about Diocletian’s persecutions, the tetrarchy or the Edict of Milan, but I couldn’t tell you what goes where in a church lol

I think it's always just to the left of the door, along with Elena. Not 100%

I'm interested in the same period and its impacts on world history. There are still amazing places and sites to visit that have connections to those events.
