Taking into account that they have been linked with every player that can kick a ball in the world, I would say that we are pretty safe. We all know there full of shit, when I see it in black and white from the club I will believe it. "Only" and "200 million" should never appear in the same sentence.

Muzzy_Larsson Posted 18 June 2019 Share Posted 18 June 2019 I hope Man Utd remain in this endless cycle of spending vast amounts of money, turning over managers, all to remain in mediocrity, by their standards anyway.

I really can't see it happening but Martial would be a terrific signing, especially with Rodgers to develop him.

Corky Posted 18 June 2019 Share Posted 18 June 2019 I'd be sad to see Kingy go but James, Silva and Kapustka have probably run their course with us.

There's got to be a talented player in Kapustka. I get the impression, and I'm sure loads of others on here agree, that hes a confidence player. Rogers might get something out of him and will no doubt get a good idea over the pre season. I can't see James improving now and Silva is quality but certainly doesn't suit this league or team. The guy has done absolutely zero of note anywhere he's been out on loan.

It's a pity because he did have talent. Sadly it's too common with young players.

I can only assume the staff are spending too much time trying to secure Tielemans and our main targets. someone needs to be instructed to find clubs for them, and I don't mean golf clubs. ktfox59 Posted 19 June 2019 Share Posted 19 June 2019 My over riding, perhaps my only memory of this lad was in a league cup match against West Ham, where he was clean through on goal and tried to chip a 6ft 6 goalie from 10yrds instead of the nearside corner

He technically gave them 5 years notice he’d be retiring and then recommended David ****ing Moyes?! Any sensible club would have been preparing relentlessly for his successor, like Liverpool used to do. Instead they’ve had 3 hopeless managers and spent about a billion quid on absolute trash. Yeah, they’re a massive club but we should absolutely be finishing above them from now on.
