With all due respect Danny, no thanks. Hope it works out for him somewhere lower down the pyramid.

Where did he say this?

Other than a random Twitter account where is this quoted?

Can anyone think of a big career collapse than Drinkwater in recent times? I’m struggling

Dele Alli or Adrian Mutu maybe... but yes, his decline was quite spectacular.

Has to be Dele Alli by quite some distance. The way the media lost their brains about him.Remember that he was touted as the most World Class player ever for a good season or three. To go off a cliff like he did.

League Cup 2nd Round, October 3rd 1995. We won 2-0 at Burnley, with a Mark Robins double.

The following night, ex- and future City players were knocking the goals in all over the place.

It's pretty easy - how many can you spot?

7, 8 if you include Robins, plus the father of a current player also on the score sheet.

Good spot with the Daddy.

The previous night, as well as us winning at Burnley, Man U had been knocked out by York City. They won 3-1 on the night but went out 4-3 overall as York had won 3-0 at Old Trafford - with two from Paul Barnes - another Daddy.

It would be an interesting question, who is the best father son where either father or son have played for Leicester? Schmeichel is the obvious answer - is there a better option?

Do we have any combinations of father and son both playing for Leicester at some stage?

Could we make a decent XI of ‘the sons of former Leicester City Players’

I mean you’re not going to beat Schmeichel as a Maldini never played for Leicester.
