he reminded me a lot of Muzzy Izzett where he had the skill and could pick out a peach of a pass but could generally do his thing without grabbing the headlines too much… respectable coach too I think.

He went on to have long spells at Leeds and Coventry, before impressing at Liverpool.  You get fans of those clubs expressing surprise that he'd played at Leicester, but he was here for five years!

Wasn't a bad double signing back in 1985 - £350,000 for Ally Mauchlen and Gary Mac.  Both were class players.

Tbf McAllister played in what was arguably our worst period since the early 50’s (until the mid 00’s)

Bernardo Silva ranks Mahrez as the player with the best first touch at Man City. High praise from Silva, who is one of the best technical players I have ever seen in best part of three decades watching the sport. I have never seen anyone with a first touch better than Mahrez though, we were lucky to watch him in the blue of Leicester City.
