Emery sacked in November with team 16th. Wolves hindered by Europa League but still pull off results. Everton start season well, slump around New Year to rise again, for fourth or fifth season in a row. Kane finds form, Tottenham patchy at home but very strong away to be the highest placed London team. Plucky Blades graft their way to safety with determined performances! Villa comfortable after early season worries. Hassenhutl first manager sacked, Southampton stagnate & finally drop. Newcastle grind out results against bottom half to survive. Leicester's young vibrant Foxes bounce around the top ten as inexperience costs points. Manchester United actually manage to build somewhat of a squad but are also inconsistent.

Norwich start season well but go on 10 game losing streak to drop late on. Brighton H'over & Out, Gulls plummet from Premier League with manager sacked in early March.

2 of utd spurs arse and chelsea will finish below us.. .. they can't all have a good season.

We will be 5th ...odds?

I mean, they all had bad to awful seasons in terms of points, and still were what, 11 points ahead of Wolves? I don't think they need good seasons to finish above us.

Out of that mess of improbability, I have to pick out one thing: why on Earth would you pick Hassenhuttl as first to be sacked? There's literally nothing that points to it at all, absolutely nothing, the club has even given him input over transfers.

You seem to be taking it more seriously than me.

I don't think Southampton have been in good shape for a while, I'm not sure they've strengthened enough and I'm not sure about Hasenhuttl - could be completely wrong. Just fun to have a quick guess after reading the thread.

Definitely true, I'm awful at having a bit of fun with this sort of thing, i always take it way too seriously. FPL, for example...

Fair enough on Southampton. I personally think Hassenhuttl is probably the 6thish best manager in the PL right now.
