Steady on now, Kante was a class above for us and Chelsea (for the first couple of seasons) Not even commenting on the obvious that Kante offered but his intelligence on the football pitch was something else, he knew when he could press really high up the pitch to knick the ball for one. That said, he was probably carrying that knee injury in some form for far longer than we realise, like a few in the squad. I hope we seem him back to his best this year. I was pretty happy with Mendy overall, but an in-form Wilf is one of, if not the best, DMF in the league on his day.
