His purple patch is over, he just isn’t very good at all.

Couldn’t agree more.

He was out of his depth and looked like a League One player for ages then looked quality (his goal involvement probably masked his defensive weaknesses) then got injured but has been 5/10 ever since coming back from injury.

He just doesn’t seem very intelligent on the pitch but must admit he comes across as nice guy which makes it harder to swallow.

Get whatever money we can for him and ndidi in the summer and pray that no one else has noticed how shit they’ve become

How not to run a business 😂 you can almost gurantee as soon as a new manager comes in their performances and values would rocket back up anyway.

So hope you’re spot on mate BUT JJ has been muck a lot more than he’s been good.

Cags is written off by most on here but he had a much longer purple patch 🤷🏻‍♂️

Seems to be AWOL from his position whenever the ball hits the back of our net. If his engine isn’t quite there yet he needs to be less reckless bombing forward, become a Danny Simpson and focus on the “back” part of his position and show less of the “fool” part. Be part of some runs of clean sheets then gradually test your ability to get up and down without leaving us exposed.

Absolutely spot on.

How can he not be match fit though?

He’s played a silly amount of games so can’t be rustyness.

Loads of our players look constantly tired to be honest. If they’re not tired at kick off, after one half they normally are.

Very true.

Another reason why I feel that Rodgers being an  “elite coach” is a myth.

Players seem to get less fit on his watch.

Whatever manager does replace him 🤞🏻, it has to be someone with a passion/record for conditioning players.

Hard when the coach is telling to you to do something different. Do agree though he's not helped himself at all

The poor midfielders get absolutely run into the ground. No wonder their performances have all fallen off a cliff.

Let's stop blaming individual players. If Brend_a was any good he would get the best out of them. Justin has played very well for us before and has forced his way into the England squad so he clearly has potential. Rodgers is responsible for making the players look bad. By blaming others we are just falling for his spell!

Young Luke might be a better option at the moment.

Luke gets a lot of stick but Rodgers tactics expose him. He’s expected to make attacking lung busting runs which he clearly can’t do. It’s ridiculous.

I think Luke is capable of performances similar to Tomiyasu’s today Vs Salah. He got forward in short bursts to link the play, but most of the time he was in a defensive position ready to protect his flank.

Maybe i’m clutching at straws, but JJ needs to be dropped and Luke is the only viable option really.
