Seems it but like the poster above says Darvel have a silly squad for that level by all accounts. Put 5 past Montrose in the last round who are 3 divisions above them.

Don’t disagree hence I said ‘standing’. You have to go back to 1959 to find a shock with such a league difference.

A lot of the Juniors clubs now are incredibly well ran better than a lot of the SFL teams

Sometimes you just have to laugh at the state of your club.

Goodwin will be out tonight.

The main shareholder will get a load of grief.

Next manager? There isn't an obvious candidate in Scotland and the fans have had enough  of lower league English dross.

Yep. Since they brought in promotion from Lowland/Highland League to League 2, the teams that have come up have a very good record.

If you look at the Lowland League at the mo, three of the recent relegated teams are in the bottom third of the division. Brechin look good to make the playoff via Highland League this year though - unbeaten

Kevin Thomson got a club since leaving Kelty? Or you can jump on board the Shaun Maloney experiment like Hibs did. Imagine Jack Ross as bad as he was at Dundee United will be linked won't he

We did the Maloney experiment with Stephen Glass prior to Goodwin.

Thomson would be very unpopular with the fans and too inexperienced.

Ross is deemed a failure in Scotland after Hibs and Utd.

Blimey, Lambert being quoted this morning, surely not.

Martindale is the 1 manager that consistently does well but his criminal past seems to be stopping him getting quoted for bigger jobs and there's a feeling him and Livvie "fit".

They need a coach. The defence has been abysmal all season and getting worse.

Too many loan players and players on short term contracts, but that's symbolic of scotish football with no finance.

Didn't suggest Martindale as I'd want him at Hibs when they finally bin off Johnson 😂. On the Martindale theme, how's Marvin Bartley seen up there, always thought he comes across very intelligent and would make a decent manager, missed the boat with him though. What's the issue with Thomson, footballing wise I think he'd be great at the top level? Aware Ross has been poor lately but he'll get linked won't he 😂

I can see Martindale at Hibs.

Thomson, too much of a Rangers past and fairly or unfairly thought of as one of the Hibs neds around that time (Brown, Riorden, O Conner).

Don't know too much about Bartley apart from his partner being Eilidh Barbour.

He talks a good game on Sportscene, let's see how he gets on at QOTS.

Can't believe Goodwin is still in a job. Maybe a sign we cant afford to sack him.

There's no way Ross will even get an interview. His stock is so low at the moment the fans would revolt and heap even more pressure on the owner.

Prepare for an Atlanta B team "soccer" coach to be flown in....

Either that or sounding out a possible replacement and biding time.

Or, the chairman recognising that he's chosen and backed 2 managers in less than 2 seasons and his judgement is looking ropey at best. His reputation with his Atlanta chums is at risk if he pulls the trigger now.

The 2k going to Hibs on Saturday will voice their opinion.

Pretty fortunate that Hibs are almost just as shite and you'll probably beat them!

Especially since Nisbet looks Millwall bound for £2.3m, and maybe Porteous to Watford via Udinese.

It's got a zero zero written all over it.

Yep, two best players going this window and the recent recruitment has been appalling, wouldn't back them to replace either properly.

Looks like we might be getting him ourselves without relying on Udinese but they have defensive injuries which might hold up the move .

Typical as we have just let 2 go !

From a Scotland national team point of view I was hoping he'd go abroad.

England or moving to the old firm is too easy, but moving abroad gives them a diferant experience.

It's similar to the various young English players in Germany and Holland at the moment.

It benefits the national teams.

Hickey / Doig / Ferguson / Henderson have done well in Italy.

Maybe Udinese will come in for him if we don’t go up !
