Dozens are likely dead in the explosion outside Kabul airport

this attack was apparently predicted - the allies warned that it would happen imminently. Telling people who are desperate to flee for their lives that their lives are in danger so they shouldn’t gather  ….. can anyone see the problem here ??

what a shocking mess - I’m still unsure how even two extra weeks of Afghan resistance would have meant this wouldn’t be a sh1tshow - seems like there was no proper planning to help those who helped us to get out of the country.

not for the first time, the west has  the blood of innocent women and children on its hands ….

With dozens trying to get out of the country a bomb attack was highly predictable. Groups like isis will use the situation to create chaos. The west will be hoping for a war between the talisman and isis.  Better that than the taliban giving sanctuary to terrorists like before.

"Get Covid? Be homeless!" - the US Supreme Court.

Looks like Congress will have to step up. Good job the dems have the hand in both right now.

Our government doesn't do carrots only sticks. We live by the law of the jungle. Survival of the richest and their interests. My country is a dead man walking.

Judge: Michigan couple must pay son $30,441 for throwing out porn collection

Ruling says parents had no legal right to ‘destroy property that they dislike’

A judge in Michigan has ordered a couple to pay $30,441 (£22,100) to their son, for throwing out his pornography collection.

US district judge Paul Maloney’s decision this week came eight months after David Werking, 43, won a lawsuit against his parents.

Werking said they had no right to throw out his collection of films, magazines and other items, which he said then was worth $29,000 (£21,500).

In his ruling this week the judge followed a value set by an expert, MLive.com reported. Werking’s parents were also ordered to pay $14,500 (£10,500) to their son’s attorney.

Werking lived at his parents’ Grand Haven home for 10 months after a divorce, before moving to Muncie, Indiana. After moving, he learned that his boxes of films and magazines were missing.

Werking’s father wrote in an email: “Frankly, David, I did you a big favor getting rid of all this stuff.”

In his ruling in December last year, Judge Maloney said: “There is no question that the destroyed property was David’s property. Defendants repeatedly admitted that they destroyed the property.”

Werking’s parents said they had a right to act as their son’s landlords.

Maloney responded: “Defendants do not cite to any statute or caselaw to support their assertion that landlords can destroy property that they dislike.”

Did he buy it off Raj and DrTheSingh in a double deal?

@Jattdogg’s entire lifetime collection perhaps ?

I never pay for porn. Illegal downloads via a 28k/56k modem back in the 90s or off the internet only. Nowadays with pornhub (etc) who needs to buy it?

Classic 80s porn was great though. The music, hairy bush lol

Nowadays trying to have a wank is  complicated with all the different categories.  You almost need to have 10 screens ready with the 10 different categories that you need to watch in order to rub one out.

Tbf to his parents, he probably used £20000 worth of paper tissues/ toilet roll so it should cancel out what the judge says he owes them

Moped rider's rude name place tour finishes in Bell End https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-oxfordshire-58375401

A man touring places with rude names in the UK on a 50cc moped has arrived at his final destination of Bell End.
Paul Taylor, from Wantage, Oxfordshire, made the charity fundraising trip, which started in Shitterton, Dorset, in memory of a friend who died of cancer.
He reached Twatt in Orkney on Wednesday but broke down near Cairn O'Mount in Aberdeenshire, and had to finish his challenge by hire car on Saturday.
"It's been an adventure," he told the BBC.
Mr Taylor said there was no sign outside the Worcestershire village of Bell End which was a "bit annoying", theorising that it may have been stolen, or removed because it was "too offensive or risque".
His trip has raised more than £20,000 for the Institute of Cancer Research.
He said after his friend Alexis Leventis died of cancer last year, aged 55, he wanted to do something "to help beat this awful disease" and believed his "Moronic Moped Marathon" was "a suitably ridiculous place to start".
His journey began on 18 August and saw him take in Booze in the Yorkshire Dales, Brawl in the Highlands, and Cockpole Green in Berkshire.
Street names on his itinerary included The Knob in King's Sutton, Northamptonshire, Butthole Lane in Shepshed, Leicestershire, and Titty Ho in Raunds, Northamptonshire.
Before it broke down, Mr Taylor's Slovenian Tomos XL45 Classic had a top speed of 28mph.
Speaking on the morning after completing the challenge, Mr Taylor said: "I'm pleased to be going back to see my wife and my dogs."
He added: "When you have a mission or purpose you keep going… and then when you stop you realise how tired you are.
"I'm tired and happy and reflective on what happened and how crazy it all was. Obviously this is a different period of my life that will probably never be repeated again.
"Everything goes back to normal now, it's obviously quite a mad time."
However, Mr Taylor said he was considering a "Version 2.0" of his journey in the future, this time travelling west to east.
"You couldn't squeeze all the silliness in one expedition," he said.
Locations visited on the Moronic Moped Marathon included:
■   Ass Hill, Wimborne, Dorset
■   Sandyballs holiday village, New Forest
■   Pishill, Oxfordshire
■   Titty Ho, Raunds, Northamptonshire
■   Willey, Warwickshire
■   Penistone, South Yorkshire
■   Upperthong, West Yorkshire
■   Cockfield, County Durham
■   Ogle, Northumberland
■   Cockermouth, Cumbria
■   Clitheroe, Lancashire
■   Bell End, Worcestershire

"In 2019, researchers found 83 percent of liberal Democrats accepted evolution, whereas only 34 percent of conservative Republicans felt the same."

Well...

Who knew that education was the key ???

are you also inferring that it’s only stoopid people who occupy the political ground on the right  ? Are all stoopid people conservative republicans or are all conservative republicans stoopid ??

we need to know !
