Anyone know of anywhere that would be providing lateral flow tests at this time of night?

Son had a match last night and now several of his team have tested positive. He came home from school quite lethargic.

Just gone to test him and we've used our last one.

Just isolate him and wait until the morning. It wouldn't show up that quickly anyway, you'd need 3-5 days post infection for him to test positive.

The "State" is compelled to step in regarding various incidences of child abuse. I'm not sure why this particular situation which has the potential for such abuse has got this talking head clutching her pearls and going "but what about the parents?!"

Why not?  Her choice.  Prepared to take the risk.

Maybe as part of her role she would be caring for people unable to have the vaccine themselves, so if she is unvaccinated it would put them at unnecessary risk.

Even having the vaccine would put them at risk as the virus can still be transmitted.

Of course, but the risk of transmission is reduced from people who have been vaccinated, no? Vaccinated people transmit a lower viral load, so the risk is reduced as far as I understand.

Well some will say it’s harsh as the vaccine is a personal choice but she was working in a highly dangerous work place facing very vulnerable people .

What Lil Miss QAnon in that picture doesn't seem to get (or not care about) is that freedom works both ways.

One has the freedom to put other people at increased risk of harm. Those same people likewise have the freedom to have action, singularly or collectively through legislation, to defend themselves against that increased risk.

Unless your vaccinated and catch the “Delta variant” and it’s the same according to the study below.

“A new study found that people vaccinated against coronavirus who have also contracted the Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2 could have similar peak levels of the virus as people who have not had a vaccination.”

Justification for a vaccine passport right there of course.
