Do you ever wonder if you'll be one of those "lost" yet remembered on FT?

I guess we'll never know unless there's a heaven and we can look down on FD.

How frustrating it would be to be unable to post from beyond the grave.

I would only be noticed with the caveat 'I'm glad that...'

Just don't login for a year and see if anybody misses you.

Guest Col city fan

@Miquel The Work Geordie has become more humorous on here, I’ve noticed. Less ‘angry’ and contentious, more light hearted and with a sense of humour that definitely has me chuckling.
He must be getting his oats?

😂

I agree I think the break did him well. Come back in to the fray a different poster and I for one am delighted. He is one of the greatest posters imo alongside yourself Col

Last posted in March. Not looking good. He will be sorely missed

He posted that he was struggling and I think that he has since departed this world.

Always recognisable by his posts and style of writing as well as his insight into City games

I'm gonna say... RIP.

I'm afraid, that's probably necessary to say - now..

Despite struggling to understand his posts at times (oh, the irony..ha), he came across as intelligent and thought-provoking.

Despite never meeting him, let alone any other poster on here, could sense that he was bright and liked a good debate.

Now i feel like there're a lot of people on here who wish i'd stayed away.

I have  no doubt I’ll be lost one day but no one dare mention me   In case I decide to come back!

What I think i's quite sad ... and this applies to life in general, not just a messageboard ... is that some people don't know anyone else, who would be in a position to say "poor old so-and-so has died" etc.   They just disappear, and at some point you realise they're no longer there.

If I was struck down by a meteorite, there are a couple of people on here who could at least post  "you know that worth_the_wait duffer?   You'll never believe this, but he's just gone and got himself killed by a meteorite!".

So, I saw the following on a friends Facebook Page...

"There are no words.  Only that we miss you.  Happy Fathers Day in Heaven"

And then a picture of my friend's dad who was once my drinking buddy.

So, I go and knock on the door.  His wife answers; just as I'm about to say "I'm so sorry"; she calls him to the door!

I seriously thought he was dead!
