I was such a fan of his but Thursday s*** today s***, some say it's because he's having sleepiness nights because of his new born, but it different with multimillionaire celebrities surly with his millions he can have nannies and cooks to look after his baby and partner.

Dont think he was THAT bad today, but like we've all been saying for weeks - he shouldn't start anymore. He doesnt create enough for player in a team aiming for top 6 and doesnt fit any position particularly well. The game was transformed once we brought on an actual winger.

 

Can still see him starting next game.

He's a good player who is out of form but he is a hindrance to the team's tactical shape and formation. 4-3-3 with Lookman and Barnes is what we should be playing, Soumare in midfield. If we play with a no10 then play Nacho.

 

Wouldn't mind if we sold him

You can only cash in if a team makes an offer. I daresay if AFC had offered a decent amount we would have accepted it.

I am going to defend him here. Simply that isn't his position he played today. What it did was complete mess around with the balance of the team. Most notably being Ricardo had to defend two players and Soyuncu being pulled out. 

 

He's out of form and still not 100% fit. Trying to shoehorn him in a position (which we've seen him play very poorly before) isn't going to help him or the team.

The thing is, his passing was never great. He had some good ideas but his passing was always a yard too short or long or angle was a bit too much taking the recipient (eg. Vardy) out of play. That is, his execution was poor. He needs other players to adjust to him. He can twist and turn but that was it. So when he became a marked man, he has no output. He is better as a no 10 behind a front two so he gets less attention. So he still has a role if Nacho plays with Vardy and he is just behind them. But he cannot be the main man.
