fair play to him

really... i mean i dont know the details, but if his wife has stood beside him, taken care of his home and maintained his lifestyle, surely she is entitled to a share of the earnings she helped him achieve?

I highly doubt footballers have anything like conventional marriages. All the attributes you list above that a traditional spouse would do will be taken care of by PSG and/or paid agencies. He'll be onto the next bit on the side already, she'll find a new credit card provider. The circle continues

I mean almost all of the people wanking themselves off over this online are just misogynistic "men's rights" pricks anyway, happily painting his wife as some sort of gold digger. That whilst overlooking why she's divorcing him, which is that while she was away with their child he brought another woman back to their house and, at best, cheated but, worse, potentially raped this other woman as he's currently under investigation for.

So fair fvcks to his wife quite frankly.

LOL... relax dude, it's a clickbait story that deserves a clickbait response, you can save your megaphone and whistle screaming for the serious issues of the day. Apart from the fact the multi-billion, global, incredibly complex private wealth market would be deemed irrelevant if hiding your assets was as easy as - 'nah in my mums name mate' - you have no idea why they are divorcing

I think he was quite clear on the reason why, do you reckon it's inaccurate in some way?

NB. Also, not entirely sure why gender relations - even today in supposedly "enlightened" Western world - aren't a serious issue of the day, and while this is only one small part of that, it is a part.

You mean BESIDES the fact she discovered he's either an adulterer or a rapist?

You're right, beyond that, I've got no idea. He quite possibly also never does the washing up and chews with his mouth open idk.

Gender relations are a serious issue of the day, this is not an example of it. She obviously will be well looked after in divorce, because as I stated, the huge private wealth market cannot be diluted into 'put it someone else name fella.' The internet is full of gutter press sh1t, this is an example of it, there's no need for anyone to desperately prove they are a feminist via this nonsense story.

That is a very witty response tbf. I don't want to come across as one of those people who comment on Shropshire Star news articles about the colour of Kate Middleton's evening dress, but the gutter press article I read stated she left him BEFORE the rape allegations. We have no idea about these people's private lives.

I disagree. If all the above actually happened then he's a piece of crap and the relationship should just be over. What entitles her to half of all his possessions and earnings?

........ Well presumably this little thing called the law?

I've no idea what French divorce law is but I assume it entitles her to half of their family's assets and wealth unless they had a prenuptial agreement to the contrary?

Fair enough. I'd certainly agree with the reading of divorce law here, but it's also a fact that there are a lot of dudebros latching onto this story to fuel their almost entirely illusory victim complex.
